Does that mean the Watt deal is off?

They've known it was coming for about a fortnight and have been trying to argue our case - we really are a right ****ing mess as a club.

With a transfer embargo in place, it must be the right time to bring in a new manager right now.

The deal agreed with Cardiff was around the £2million mark

Sorry, back on point. How can such a "successful businessman" be so bad at running a football club? ffs.

The positives to come out of this are that we won't waste £2m on Watt and Slade can't waste any more money.

If they new about this two weeks ago why on earth did they not sign Watts before this embargo. In my post last month I stated that the management in this club did not have a clue, and now I have been proven right,a bunch of cowboys, sack the bloody lot and send them packing. this also means we will end up mid table if were lucky.God give me strength I am so frustrated if I had a dog I would kick the **** out of it, I haven't so I will take it out on the back door.

I expect the club were notified of the impending embargo two weeks ago so knew they wouldn't get any new registrations through anyway.

    Hence the inactivity all round.

You are probably right Sparks. Hence the vow of silence/denials on any rumours of signings, the desperation to get Jones off the books and why Watt wasn't even on the bench Sunday. Charlton wouldn't want him cup-tied if we couldn't sign him. He could still be an attractive buy to clubs still in the cup.

Just heard on BBC Wales news that the reason behind the ban is the level of borrowing. It must be 2 years or so ago that Tan said he would capitalise much of the debt in his name. He clearly failed to do so and we are saddled with at least £150m of debt to Tan and associates. If that is true then he has really shot himself in the foot as the club continues the ever decreasing circle of downward drift.

Borrowing = debt = bad news

Perhaps that's what he wants as revenge for the red/blue issue.

Capitalisation = shares = investment = no FFP hassle.

The only good from this is we are not paying £2m for Watt.

He is another Kenny Miller, Fraizer Campbell, Joe Mason will run all day but not score the goals that he should.

    EDIT

Watt scored two goals in nine appearances for Cardiff since arriving on loan in November 2015

I guess this will save me the bother of checking the transfer section on the bbc website. SNAFU at the city, no big surprise.
