Haha. I just watched a Youtube video on Haller. Saying "Goal Machine" It took ages to show a goal, and then it was a penalty! Most of the video is misses! He does look like he will be a pain in the a*se for defenders. Lanky, strong, holds up the ball, good touch, looks determined.
Yeh I watched that and thought the same ! Most of his goals came from the spot, looks a bit like a young Anelka I thought? Can't be any worse than Grabban that's for sure !
Mixed - looks raw and there are a few shanks and glaring misses in with the quality, so I suspect he still has lots to learn. But there are some great touches and interplay too which I think is actually almost more important now in a modern lone striker. What I can't understand is why they flip the video view so everything is backwards - check out all the numbers in their backs. I thought from the video he was left footed or double footed but actually I think he must be right footed. Still, let's not get our hopes up until confirmed...!
I think it's a crude way of avoiding copyright claims, as its harder to identify footage as the original. Suspect if Godfrey is sorted, it won't be announced until we've got a first team signing to appease the masses with.
Aside from a couple of good goals and some missed chances, this video shows the lads vision and innovation. He sets up one or two great opportunities for others here. The last goal is a great assist. Looks like he could make a very good player. Looks confident and determined!
