I half guessed that Middlesbrough would get moved BUT Birmingham away on a Thursday night ? FFS.............................. Just waiting for the Derby game away in April now.
The Middlesbrough one is not unexpected. But it is going to be a pain in the neck getting up there on a Friday afternoon/evening and a very late return home.
Moving both from Saturday afternoons is going to severely dent the travelling support, though Boro should hold up fairly well.
Birmingham will miss out much more than Middlesbrough. imo. However, It is the Piper who plays the tune. Just wait until next season when PL games start being played on Friday nights under the new mega deal.
That's pissed me off, I had a full weekend away planned for that Birmingham game that I can't do anymore!
Birmingham away is one game that does not bother me at the best of times. However, the lads need ALL our support regardless of Live sky tv.
I've amended your post, please don't misspell swear words, it defeats the object of having a swear filter, thanks.
Actually looking at the revised fixture list now it does not look that bad from a players stand point and recovery time. Friday 26th February @ home to Sheffield Wednesday.......Live on sky Thursday 3rd March @ Birmingham City...............................Live on sky Tuesday 8th March @ home to Brentford Saturday 12th March @ home to MK Dons Friday 18th March @ Middlesbrough.....................................Live on sky Then a 2 week international break before Bristol City @ home on Saturday 2nd april. So that has to mean another 3-0 win @ the Boro.?
Moving games is a pain. We'd booked rooms for the Brighton league game on the 30th and, daftly, went for the budget no refund option... Oh well
More often than I thought (although actually it's generally only been new year, boxing day or a cup replay)!
