Bournemouth want Patrick Roberts on loan from Man City. Why?! All the attackers they have bought and loaned!

Swansea also getting Guzman back, which would be a good signing.

But the competition is Swansea......SWANSEA! he's not exactly signed there yet but surely the fine city has more allure?

    Bah!

More likely Howe has seen Grabball in training today and wants to unload him elsewhere <whistle>

Interesting that Afobe and Grabban were rated at 5.91 and 5.90 by WhoScored against Wet Sham. They both started at 6 and went down!

People are pretty down on Gayle. He's not our solution, but I'd rather him than Hooper or Grabban. Lafferty never gets a chance, so if he comes in, he'd be an upgrade on nothing. I think he'd add to us. Like I say. Not our solution, but an improvement.

    But for a reported £7 / 8 / 9m? <yikes>
I'm not sure what he's ever done to justify anywhere near that sort of price tag - but sadly, it goes with the territory when you're 'dining at the top table' :(

A bit much, about 5M would be alright, possible stretch to 6. But we didn't do our business in the summer. January, everything rockets. They knew that, but didn't push on with Gayle, or Naismith. Now we are seeing how much of a mistake that was.

Gayle stalled when Bournemouth's bid for Glenn Murray was accepted, so Palace weren't left short of striker options. Having said that, he's hardly featured for them since.

If we bid what that were asking, they would have sold, and used the money to replace.

Looks like Sam Byram is going to Everton for about 4m. Awesome player, would be a really good move for the lad. Everton would bring him on to a possible future England player. He's a lad I've wanted us to sign for many seasons. He's going to be a player!

Just seen on a not so creditable gossip site, we are going to sign Nedum Onuoha from QPR for 3.25m

I use to like him as a prospect at Man City. Very very pacey. 6'2, good tackler. I have no idea how he has done at QPR. I have the feeling he hasn't set the world alight, or we would have heard about it.

What if Newcastle and West Brom are also interested?
