Someone please tell me I'm wrong with my post, but the current situation points me in the direction of a very difficult season ahead. Quiite frankly since our first season in the championship we have steadily dropped off the required pace to acheive the ultimate goal, which is promotion. Constant references have been made by the management with regard to our areas of weaknesses and yet very little, if any, effort has been made to fix the problem(s). Why do the management repeatedly insult our intelligence by offering up new players that aren't even close to being capable of solving our age old problems? Don't get on my back, because I'm not directing my concerns at any new players that have, or may, come to City. Saying we need better players in defence and then signing yet another forward seems foolish to me and some other City fans so WHY does it continue? Mind you after our inability to find the net against lower oppositon perhaps we should sign 11 forwards. Our squad is again top heavy in numbers and if indeed we need to ship players out before we can sign new ones why the hell do we keep certain players on staff and pay them good money for playing in the reserves. Surely by removing the rubbish we could invest that same money for players worth their salary but I'm not going to hold my breath. I know! I know! -they have contracts, but you just watch if someone comes sniffing because they will be off like a terd of hurtles with never a thought for us and will soon be seen on a TV near you thumping the shirt badge of their new employer promising the world. All in all a season of unfulfilled promises again I'm afraid but it could be worse - or could it???
The mood in the dressing room cant be all that good. These results cant be encouraging Maynard to stay. And if he goes that wont encourage ambitious players to join us.
Well why are you all going on about it as it is fact he would join you then, I'm sure he couldn't care less that you're playing Real Madrid because I don't, I'd love us to get rid of the rubbish we have but I doubt over teams would want them, It would be a lot nicer if we see defenders coming it permanently rather than loan them
Im not saying Maynard will sign for us, i just saying its a possibility, you keep coming out with your wont sell to a championship club, you will sell to whoever pays the money you want for him. Your chairman said he doesnt want to sell Maynard to a championship club didnt say he wont.

Enjoy the excellent players Sven has already pulled into your club - you're obsessed man. I'll enjoy seeing your lot down at the CCS this season - should be a cracking game again. Is Kermorgant still with you?...... BTW, read somewhere that we were both looking at bringing back Matt Derbyshire from Olympiakos - have you heard anything on that?
