    Well, all I can say is that it was a thoroughly entertaining game. I know it's often hard for one to admit that after a defeat but it was all action. Great touches and passes from both teams. In short, it had everything.

    well glad i stayed up :[ do like the look of Abeid, Vuckic looked energetic and jose didn't stop running. shame we didn't score but we can blame that on the pitch

    Wow! What a pre-season this has turned out to be having a game called off due to fans invading the pitch. Losing one of best players (or as the Yanks call it MVP) and now losing a to a bunch of amatuers...Only Newcastle United eh lads?

    Well that was embarrassing. Colo was reasonably decent, Abeid and Vuckic both looked lively and impressive when they came on. On the other hand, he may be a good shot-stopper but boy is Forster ****e at collecting crosses! Also, Enrique looked incredibly lazy, far too relaxed and played a lot of stray passes; I just hope he hasn't started to believe his own hype.

    Not overly concerned about the match. Its a pre-season, and we usually have a terrible result, but we had nothing going forward due to playing Smith and Tiote in centre midfield. Think Barton and Cabaye will sort out the lack of creativity and Ben Arfa should hopefully just add a bit of magic. Hoping we add another striker though, while I like Lovenkrands, he will always be a winger to me.
