I tell you what, I'm getting tired of pundits ONLY talking about our need for a new striker. Eric Dier is shattered. We really need that defensive midfielder we were after before Dier became a revelation in that position. He's being run into the ground, more than Kane in my opinion. No cover for his position at all.

His falling over cost us the goal. Let's hope the powers that be sort this out.

As soon as that ball bundled out for a corner, i just knew they were going to score.

I only saw the match from the second half. Had the pleasure of taking my folks to the pictures. Anyhow, from what I saw, it appeared scrappy at times but we had some good possession but it became quickly apparent, Leicester had our number and knew how to defend our shape.

Lamela looked sharp and his pass to Kane was sublime. On another day, that would have gone in but that's life. All this doom and gloom talk though is premature.

What we need now is the board to say... "OK lads, time to back Poch. He's proven he's a class act and it's clear where he needs quality. Now its our job to go out and get it for hime".

Let's hope they see things that way!

We look leggy mate and its blatantly obvious, we need more strength in depth. Have faith. Levy will back him (here's hoping!)

Before the game I wanted Walker and Davies but on reflection maybe Trippier as done enough to earn himself a run in the team.

Excellent analysis CK, Eriksen should be packed off for 2 weeks in the sun to recharge his batteries and Son given his place and Daniel needs to dust off the cheque book and bring us a striker and an experienced midfielder with a winning attitude, I wonder if we could get fat Frank on loan for 2 months

We were poor but the refereeing was atrocious. Is he going to be Leicester's Howard Webb. I used to think Mahrez was good player but his constant diving takes away from his game. Despite all the hype about Vardy it was Ulloa who was more of a problem for us.

I'm always saying that..I even suggested Cambiasso a few months back.

    I'm gutted about tonight.

  9. Leicester may well be a one-trick pony side, but not many teams have worked it out, yet.

Likewise , just think that these young players are doing so well, but there are times when there is no substitute for having been there seen it and done it!

MOTM Lee Mason. Deadly for them from start to finish. Incredible to see a 44 year old still play at the level he does, hats off to him <applause>

I agree about the youngsters. Still proud of them and where we are going.

    Over to you Levy!

I recall an interview with a young Michael Carrick a few years after he joined United, where he made precisely this point about Edgar Davids. Even though the Dutchman's best years were clearly behind him, his presence alone on the training ground and pitch were immeasurably valuable to a team containing a number of bright young stars. We sorely lack a player like that and I fear that Pochettino is so dogmatic about trusting youth that he fails to appreciate the impact that such a player can have.

I thought the Newcastle game was the wake up call, we've choked again as we all knew we would eventually. this should now stop the ridiculous talk of a title challenge. Im beginning to wonder if we're not as good as we think and everyone else is poor. A bang average Leicester side has done what we have been trying to do for years (break into the top four)

Something tells me that we're not going to have days of publicity about that, though.

I don't think I can take another match against Leicester. I'm going for a 1-0 Leicester win next week, ulloa header in the 88th minute courtesy of a Mahrez dived freekick.

Even accepting your line of argument that the penalty was never a penalty, I'd still prefer to see a ref have a good game overall but make one glaring mistake than a ratio of 2 mistakes per minute ruining an entire match.

Was in Park Lane...great atmosphere tonight.
Think we played well but as we kept failing to take the chances we made you could sense we were going to pay...credit to Leicester. .. they played well but think losing was harsh on us.
Think that the ref was just so uneven...every time we were physical we got pulled up yet he constantly allowed them to get away with it...don't think it effected the result but it was rubbish none the less.
We desperately need cover for Dier and Kane ... that stood out a mile tonight so hopefully it'll be addressed.
All in all a very spursy night
