What we didn't retire the historic number 23 after Shola left? What is wrong with this world?

    Cursed???

He's destined to go on to great things with the spirit of Shola watching over him. He'll go on to bamboozle us with amazing footwork (sometimes without the ball at his feet), grab winners against the mackems, and inspire some of the most colourful poetry this forum has ever seen from BRS!!

He has a big job to carry Shola's number. Do you think one of them is having a laugh? "The number 23 is the most cherished shirt at this club. It was almost retired a few years ago..."

What I'd like to know is what's the strongest XI, even forgetting injuries, going forward? I assume the perseverance with 4-2-3-1 will continue - swapping Colback/Tiote for Shelvey/Saivet, is that how we'll line up?

You're forgetting to mention that his brother can join us in a few years time to continue his dynasty.

Do you recon there is any significance to the fact that on the players list the following players haven't got biography links (leaving maybe)
    Papas Cisse
    Ayoze Perez
    Florian Thauvin
    Check Tiote

You would think that's where they'd play, would be harsh on tiote and colback to both be dropped.

I think one of the new signings will start on the bench next game for tiote - who looks to be off. Thought tiote was excellent vs man u, good way to say good by if so.

Still talk of townshend coming in so you would think they have a 4-2-3-1 formation in mind going forward.

Mitro and perez are good coming off the bench so hope we can get a winger and striker signed up asap!
