We'll just have to go to the Riverside and beat them like we did at the KC. That will close the gap.

They really are going through a **** time Charlton inside the club. On another issue, and this has probably already been posted somewhere, but I thought it was a nice gesture of Derby to give Hartlepool their £23K share of gate receipts.

To say that we don't look like a good team is a tad disingenuous. Did you not see us against Brighton away or Derby at home? Great displays of verve, panache and tactical nous. As for winning every game 1-0 (or 2-0 on a lucky day) we have actually scored more goals than you with the same games played, and conceded 6 fewer giving us a superior goal difference of eight.

On another thread, someone suggests that Boro's good run is down to our opponents not turning up. Has it occurred to you that maybe Boro didn't turn up at your place earlier in the season? It's a possibility. We all know that isolated results mean very little so in order to show us up for what we are you need to be above us at the end of the season.

Good luck to you, you're going through a good run at the moment and that reflects in your stats. and performances. However I expect like most promotion teams you'll also have your bad run somewhere along the line and any tem that catches up will then have similar stats.

As for opposition teams "not turning up" you don't have to tell us about that, because during our combined four seasons in the Prem none of the teams that visited the KC and lost or drew turned up.......apparently

Don't worry, we all find tigercave's posts funny. I think his avatar is an accurate representation.

On Charlton players offering to refund supporters (or any other instance)...I don't think it would happen here. Maybe there would be a few hundred more to refund, but we do have some big earners.

It does show how much money players at second tier level have now.

There was only 166 there, it's less than £250 per player to refund them.
