Indeed. The thing is though, why can't a manager with LvG's pedigree see what you all can see, and is staring him right in the face? It just doesn't make sense that he would set your team out like this. Why, after such spending, is he unable to field a team with any sort of balance?
Because he's confused. The Blind at centre half thing is just odd. Jones being permanently crocked doesn't help I suppose.
How anyone thinks our defence was vulnerable bcos we ventured forward, is beyond me. Clearly missed the fact that all 3 newcastle goals came bcos we dropped deep, were under the kosh and couldnt get out of our own half. At 2-1 Van Gaal bottled it. We were under the kosh bcos players like Herrera and Schneiderlin were playing on the edge of their own box ffs. Our game plan was to sit deep and hit it long to one of the front men (if there was one there). Entertaining for the neutral but personally, I dont enjoy my team take a lead against a mediocre side and then step back and bend over.
No disrespect intended. Simply that you've lost 4 games in a row and not scored in any of them. What was our manager afraid of?!
I can see that your team is doing much better. When you are struggling to beat a side like WBA at home, Good of you to come here to give it large, to wum or gloat.
All of last season (and the short lived start of this season), although it was more sermonising than gloating.
Well I just give people my opinion, the fact that I am not a United fan probably means people don't want to necessarily hear my opinion, especially if it clashes with their own. But I can assure you my opinion is never conveyed with any ill intent to wind anyone up, or just to "gloat". I find such things childish and boring. I have banter with folk at times, but never anything harsh.
Besides, we, personally, as people, have about as much influence over United and Chelsea's successes and failures as we did the allied victory in World War II and the 1969 Moon landing, so gloating about either is....to use my favorite term....******ed
Seriously, right now. I'd take fifth. Fifth is far better than the abyss. Good luck for the rest of the season.
