So discounting young readers and so on it's Dark Disciple, Lords of the Sith, Tarkin, A New Dawn, Lost Stars, Battlefront, Heir to the Jedi, Aftermath. Two more questions: Am i right in thinking these are the main ones? Being more in the know than I am, can I read them in the above order, i.e release date, or should I read them in a different order to get the most out of them? Thanks for your help!
Yes, those are the main ones. Really you can probably read them in any order, I read them in release order. A lot of them don't really have links with one another, so you won't miss something by choosing one book over another.
Sweet. I hate when you start something and realise you've obviously missed a major point somewhere else. Cheers mate.
I once bought s book, "based on the cover," not realising it was the second part of a trilogy. I went back & bought the other 2 after!
Revan is talked about in a lot of the video games. He is considered one of the most interesting characters. People make jokes about every character in the movies being Revan so you should at least read that one. It's a grey area if it's going to be cannon or not, he is in the games and if they ever have plans to make an Old Republic movie he would be in it. I think he is just in the one book, but I might be wrong I haven't read them all.
Technically he isnt anymore, but they have left it open. Just like we know the Rule of Two exists so we can extrapolate that characters and events surrounding the Rule of Two might still exist as cannon at some point in the future we can theorize that anyone they haven't expressly said will never be cannon can be picked up as cannon at some point. The biggest reason it may be cannon at some point in the future is that simply he is just about everyone's favorite SW character and Disney likes money, and there is money in him being part of the cannon even if he is never in a movie.
Hmmm. Blue nosed? I'm pretty certain I don't support Birmingham, nor am I puritanical, but whatever. Blue nosed because I like to go to the cinema rather than watch ****ty stream? Well then, call me blue nosed all you ****ing want, you CSM. Blue nosed and proud.
CSM? Celebirty on Social Media? Cork Screw Man? Culpable Sensible Male? aw thats sweet of you. I was referring to the student bit for you, but take from it what you will..
Star Wars Episode VIII has been delayed 7 months from May 26th to Christmas Day (though likely earlier here in the UK). please log in to view this image Most likely due to rewrites in the script. As much as I'm hating this choice, it makes logical sense, they can alter the script to fit how the audience perceives the story after VII.
