Lol..they are using that word so the cult readers do not get butt hurt when the series doesnt follow the books chronologically...ironic. they started with book 2...makes no sense to me but then I for a laugh went on to the book fan site and the venom and outrage being soat because episode one had stuff that wasn't in the original book and characters met too early etc...even though it was explained to them the first episode was designed as a prologue for people that didn't read the books and that in no tv show can you have main characters only popping up in episode 5 lol...

Culty "fans" are a bit weird....I loved the books but I can never understand why people expect a tv show to look and feel like every readers individual imagination...Brooks himself has written for it so it's as close as he can get while fighting off the twat mtv executives who probably wanted to throw in a teenage pregnancy and some vampires......

Watched Slow West after having it on 'to watch' for time... really good little film that does a lot with the premise in terms of the storytelling, ideas and visuals. Very original

Loads of good performances too across the board

All in all a great compact 'chamber' western

    8.1 out of 10 (.1 for Treble)
