tbh NU players were as guilty.. even the penalty .. both players have their hands on each others .. i don't get why you think is UTD only need to be punished?!!! is easy NU player pull UTD plaeyrs shirt, UTD player do same too, and NU fall down .. is UTD foul??!!! NU tried desperately to win penalties this way throughout the match ..
Why can't you play possession football when you are under the cosh. Route one Fellaini... 3-2 United Roon should NOT have been playing after his horror tackle v Chelsea. Disgusting
You should read his comments when Liverpool play, they should get at least 3 penalty's per game and the other side 6 red cards. No idea about football at all. Good judge of managers though from all accounts
His WHOLE basis for football is how many fouls and penalties should be awarded. Tbh come to think of it, I've never ever seen him talk about the football itself or the attributes of any footballer during a game. It's strange on a football forum for someone to post so much but never about football? Then again, I can understand the desperation after 25 years of failure.
So @Diego and @Treble genuinely believe that Fellaini only committed a single yellow card foul in that game, and that Smalling didn't deserve a yellow for a professional foul to prevent a counter in injury time OK lads, enjoy the #dirtypoint
Poster just gone up at OT, "Missing,1 midfield. Need to find urgently for weekend, good reward for information leading to return."
Tbf we dropped deep and invited the pressure. Lost all composure and couldn't keep the ball. The likes of Schneiderlin and Herrera were only a part of that debacle but it was evident they'd been instructed to do that at HT to support the FB's. It was a crazy thing to do imo. Gave Newcastle far to much respect.
Now I assume you mean Fellaini, but did anyone else notice how (disturbingly) anonymous Schneiderlin was? Barely touched it, at least Fellaini was involved.
Cracking game lads, though not sure it was an advert for the Premiership. Rooney scored a class goal but the others were errors really. Fair result in my view and alot of penalty shouts, i was sure the first one was wrong but if it's going to happen i'd prefer right at the start rather than right at the end and it was super-ceded by so many things later on. The main question I'd have for the referee would be how Fellaini seemed to be allowed to keep committing fouls all over but I wont claim to be impartial! At least it wasn't a 0-0
Yep, we badly missed a Carrick/Bastion in there just to keep control of the ball. Some very sloppy passing tonight.
Each one a separate post and this is for a GOOD game. Treble said : '.....Surely that should be the motivator here but I fear there will be complete indifference to this by Van Gaal. The only thing that seems to make him give a 5hit is when he's facing the sack and saving his own skin.' Complaining Treble said : '..... It's been dire for more than a year. Ppl have also forgotten the debacle of the back 3 which he stubbornly stuck to, and the genius of sticking Rooney in central midfield.' Complaining Treble said : 'Young at RB, Darmian at LB, Depay on the bench and Rooney starts. What a prize c*nt.' Complaining Treble said :'4 minutes gone. The balance of the side is all wrong. Newcastle are pulling us all over the pitch. Woeful stuff.' Complaining Treble said :'If Rooney's regular passing was like his cross-field hollywood passes, we'd be winning 3 or 4 nil.' Complaining Treble said :'FFS Rooney, you should score there!' Complaining Treble said :'Sh1t goal to give away. A ball into the box and then scored off the rebound. So poor ffs. 1-2' Complaining Treble said :'For all our "possession" football, we've been pretty poor at passing the ball for significaant periods. Maybe because the game is being played at a tempo which the players aren't used to.' Complaining Treble said :'OH FCK OFF!!! Why are we trying to walk the ball into the net. Fcking bottling it ' Complaining Treble said :'Bring on Depay and put Martial up top FFFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!' Complaining Treble said :'It's Van Gaal all the way. Players lack the confidence or are simply confused by what to do in front of goal.' Complaining Treble said :'.. that's why ppl criticise Rooney ' Complaining Treble said :'Newcastle are sh1t and Van Gaal is making them look so good.' Complaining Treble said :'.....Van Gaal is a coward ' Complaining Treble said :'We have completely bottled this ALL HAIL VAN GAAL. THE C*NT' Complaining Treble said :'Possession football my fcking arse! What a sham!' Complaining Treble said :'.....Today's performance hasn't been much better than against Swansea which wasn't great either. The difference between that game and this is Newcastle are sh1te. The fact we're making them look good is embarrassing tbh. .....' I had to miss a few complaints out as there were too many to fit in a post - sigh
Not convinced Swansea are particularly better than us this season. We are ****e but they aren't worldbeaters.
I have seen you play some very good games this season, the problem is they are very infrequent. You have players that should have the team much higher than it is.
We perform well against big teams, our record even this season is pretty decent against teams competing for European places. We just don't have the mentality for playing the other 12-14 teams in the league. We have a couple of young strikers who are learning their trade under too much pressure and i think both Mitro and Perez are good players but cannot be relied on to score regularly at this stage in their careers. Oh and our defence is shank. One or two decent players but overall rather leaky. Midfield is strong and we've decided to spend another £20m on it so far this week, our board are idiots at times.
Yeh I wouldn't disagree, but I was talking about our individual games against both teams. Swansea defensively were better organised. We passed the ball quicker but they dealt with it very well. I thought you were much more open and our usual style seemed to be flattered by that. It was like our games against Club Bruge and Everton in terms of our attack against an open defence. I also think we totally bottled it after taking the lead. It was as if we didn't know what to do, so decided to drop deep and bcos we didn't know what to do, couldn't get out of our own half bcos we lacked a game plan.. It's almost as if we were expecting to play 0-0 for 80 mins and try and win in the last 10 mins. Instead we found ourselves 2-1 at half-time and the manager changed the game plan. Your number 5? can't pronounce his name was quality btw.
