Perez looked either knackered or like he's carrying a tweak. Provided the team is trying their best then the odd player having an off night is expected. Recently it's been the team having an off night and the odd player trying his best.
Tiote outstanding, Perez awful. There's confidence, then there's cockiness. Colback was poor, but playing at his top level, he's just a bang average footballer. Hopefully Saivet offers something more, keep Gini in the middle and Sissoko on the right. For us it's about having someone left side. To be fair, we spent £13m on someone to play there (Thauvin) who's a complete turkey.
Impossible. Tiote must get yellow! Although I think if he started on a yellow he would probably play at his best for longer!
I've been saying for over a month now that we shoul drop Perez and start with De Jong. That's not knocking perez. he's young and his time will come, but De Jong offfers more for the team and coming on as an impact sub and playing against tired legs is the boost that Perez needs. he's entitled to have his dip in form without too much criticism, but he should be going through it on the bench and not in the spotlight or we risk wasting another great talent.
I don't think he fits, mate. We need Gini middle, but free, so we need Tiote middle, we need someone else (Shelvey? Saivet?) middle. Perez may just need time on that left hand side, but that's the weak link (aside from Mitro needing to improve a little, eh, JPF?)
West Ham at home is a possibility though. I'm not expecting a win but it could go either way. Then Watford away, based on last week we can get something there - especially if we can get some confidence.
Cheer up Manchester Chris Smalling in the box, tra la la la la Chris Smalling in the box tra la la la la la Can we face Chris Smalling every week please?
Honestly don't know how he didn't get sent off in that match. I know i'm biased but he committed a handful of yellow that game.
He had a bit of a shocker tonight but he's been one of the class defenders of the season so far. Glad to see that sort of foul being picked up on. It's one of my pet hates and I wish refs would give them far more often.
The problem with us is that we really do have it in us to win at Man City away - but not as much as we have it in us to lose to Bournemouth at home.
Even at 3-2, Ryan Giggs did not look like a happy man. At 2-2, there was only one team in it and yet, thanks to a lucky rebound to Rooney, they score and for the next ten minutes we couldn't muster an attack. We did very well to level it again.
Absolutely, what the hell was he playing at though, he nearly had our man's shirt off his back <not complaining like>?
Mitro did well by holding onto him as he went down to make it look a lot worse than it was I think - still a definite pen though.
