Saturday was fantastic, not known anything like it since the Chelsea game in 2007. Again, long shot but I will probably be driving to Birmingham from Leicester if anyone needs a lift, need to have a look at train times & costs first but I suspect I'll be in the car.
Thinking of booking in at a hotel with parking, taxi to ground, stay overnight. and drive down to Portsmouth in the morning after rush hour
No idea Ron, there is a page on the official website which lists a load of official car parks, but I've never driven to Villa before so I don't know if they fill up quickly or are a nightmare to get out of afterwards.
I'm probably driving to Birmingham international rail station lots of parking and hotels there and getting the train to Witton return ticket less than a fiver
My son is taking his missus and it's looking like we'll drive up to my his place at Wellingborough in the afternoon and go from there. Not decided where to park yet - may do the same as you. Presumably no trouble getting back on the train?
