    It is pretty disappointing with players being injured, unavailable or rested. Most disappointing of all is the ****ing useless Alan Smith getting a start. I was hoping he would have left by now.

    On Orlando's website this chap OrlandoMan has posted these two comments on the little chat panel in the past couple of minutes....does someone want to break it to him?

    "The city is rocking to have a player like Alan Smith here. I would be stoked if he played MLS"

    "Has anyone ever seen Alan Smith play in the flesh? I would flip, he scored goals at Leeds and Manchester"

    Just imagine how disappointed they will be. Still, if people in America think he is still good then Pardew should be offering him around while he is over there.

    Just went onto the Chronicle website to look at Lee Ryder's blog, and apparently there's girls there with a t-shirt on stating 'Hey Barton bring back the Tash.' Absolutely quality. I'm sure Tash will love that.

    NEWCASTLE have agreed a £6.5million fee with Paris St Germain for highly-rated Turkey striker Mevlut Erdinc. After weeks of negotiations, the Geordies finally struck a deal for the 24-year-old and will now discuss personal terms. Toon boss Alan Pardew was given the good news during the club&#8217;s pre-season tour in the USA. Pardew has been anxious to appease fans worried by the lack of a replacement for Andy Carroll, who moved to Liverpool for £35m in January.
