How many of our side was here two years ago ? And how many will be playing here in two years time ?
It was exactly that and a very off the cuff comment that the press have turned into a full fledged transfer. Just demonstrates how easy it is to play chinese whispers!I have seen the reports of Odion Ighalos comment. What was the question that got the answer? I think it was part of a conversation where Odion had said he was not leaving and the journalist then said - what about Manchester United? Which player think rightly would say no straight away to that.
If they pay us 25MIl+ and him 2 mill a year on a 5 year contract then who caresHe's too good for manure anyway.

I actually think he'd be great for them - would add something totally different and, if anything, change their style to be even more dynamic and maybe even more combative. I am glad Wenger rubbished it as I do not think it was that crazy an idea. Not that I am biased or anything!Actually interesting question.... would TD fit in at a club that plays like Arsenal? Playing style, workrate etc...
If this report is correct I cannot see this player joining us.

I have never really rated him and £14M is ridiculous, I cannot see any club coming in for him at that price. He's not good enough for the top 5 clubs and no other club would be foolish enough to part with £14M for him. If he does not go in January, I would expect The Spuds do not get more than £7M in the summer.
Reports say Atalanta have beaten Udinese to the signature of Watford winger Alessandro Diamanti.
The Italy international has only made three appearances for the Hornets this season and has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A.
Sky Italia report today that Atalanta have overtaken Udinese in the race for the 32-year-old and are on the verge of completing a deal with the English club.
Diamanti is vastly experienced in the Italian top flight, having scored 31 goals in 153 appearances for Bologna, Livorno, Brescia and Fiorentina.
