And over the next couple of weeks they will all die of ground frost. Is it only me that has noticed the seasons have moved slightly over the last few years?
December might have been warmer but April will be colder (again).

On the subject of Einstein and 'proof' of relativity, I saw this some years ago:-

    https://kickass.unblocked.li/einstein-and-eddington-drama-demonoid-com-t2307579.html

Okay, it's a drama and not hard science, but fact is there was a lot of opposition to relativity and many people were aching to disprove it (for a whole host of reasons). It appears to have passed every test that we can devise for it (though it will, I'm sure, be 'corrected' in its finer details as Newton was 100's of years later).

May have said this earlier in the thread but, theory is only best fit at the time of it's inception. Later advancements and/or discoveries can (and do) change this.
Everything we think we know now may be blown out of the water and laughed at in 50 years (or even less), but for now we have to go with what we have and continue to try and prove/disprove it.
    That's how advancement works :emoticon-0100-smile

    @Diego
Here is the reality vs the fear mongering

    Both are the same record.

How often do you see the one on the left? Even though it is the same as the one on the right.. this is the dishonest nature of this "science"
They take very little warming and stretch it out to show drama.
Glass is more dramatic if you zoom in too

    But be scared.

You cant falsify flat earth theory unless you can take a flath earther into space yourself to show them.
You cant falsify a creationist unless you bring them back in time and show them evolution
You cant falsify a global warmer unless you bring them around the world measuring temperature.

    Seeing a pattern here ;)

You can make it appear even smaller if you use the absolute temperature scale <ok>

I dont know what you said astro but I assume it's just more meltdown <ok>

I no longer bother trying to "debate" with a sociopath. ;)

You blame rain on CO2. A warm day on CO2.. every weather anomaly is confirmation of this theory to you. Classic pseudo science example

Neither of these charts show real temperature data. It's models models models. but shhhh, it's a secret ;)

Fact 1. The Southern Hemisphere and tropics is almost all made up.
Fact 2. There are only 1500 land surface stations globally mostly in the Northern Hemisphere, all unevenly spaced with massive gaps and most are in urban areas (creates warm bias in data)
Fact 3. They add .2 degrees to every buoy they deploy to measure ocean temp (after making up the tropics and southern hemisphere record up from this air) Creating warming trend, literally by adding more buoys, even if the temp was not warming, those buoys will cause a warming trend
Fact 4. In every case they have avoided the satellite data, in surface when the troposphere was not heating up over the tropics, now they have excluded that data fro sea surface temps, but only for climate science, the hurricane centres still use that satellite data, as do many others in meteorology and mid to long range forecasting.
Fact 5. Global mean average is meaningless. What does it tell you? It's about as relevant to individual climates as Premier League average mean goals scored is to the games the goals were scored in.

Very convenient to see you lay out all your misunderstandings in a simple list <ok>

You could pick any one of these to discuss but today I will go with....... 4

Satellites cannot measure temperature. The temperature has to be inferred using models, which there are several different versions that give different results. Since you hate calibration so much if they did use satellite data I can already imagine your insane screams of #fraud about how the numbers are changed and aren't real. Shorter term forecasting is more concerned with the fluctuations so the absolute calibration isn't as important as for climate studies where you want to compare to other datasets.

Can I interject on this? Sorry I can't source it immediately, but I read (in the Telegraph!) that polar bear populations crashed in the 90's and 00's, but recovered somewhat in the last ten years. So you're talking a tripling of of a low base.

To be fair, the polar bear argument may be a tad bogus anyway, as the Innuit (sp) say their populations have risen and fallen for generations anyway.

Exactly, numbers are overall down, perhaps some increase relative to near-extinction levels, but I'm sure SIsu isn't being selective with data like that and has fantastic sources for "Polar Bear populations have tripled" because it seems to contradict this:

Status of the polar bear populations in 2014
    3 populations were in decline
    1 population was increasing
    6 populations were stable
9 populations were data-deficient (information missing or outdated)

NCDC data for 2002 to 2009 Tom Karl to be exact, politically appointed Director, like Schmidt with GISS, another political appointment.

Now it's this, yet again.. warming from manipulating.

Tom karl again, note the data above, has been "corrected" again the correction is helpful to the man made global warming cack. No cooling between those years on here. The time series is smoothed to **** too

More global warming from just changing (remodeling) data. and excluding data obviously

This is obviously why RSS and UAH satellite data is no good for NCDC and NASA

So lets look at a simplification of where we are at on historical scales.

Look how long it's been since the earth has been this cool, not since the Permian! <laugh> #globalwarming

Have there been many mammals about in the last couple of warm periods? Maybe the shape-shifting lizards really are behind this global warming 'conspiracy'?

You've already explained how the global temperature is meaningless so why are you keep discussing whether it's going up or down?

It's almost as if you don't believe your own story.
