    Absolutely, just some great catchy songs. And to think, he struggled the first few years of his musical career. Imagine him nowadays, auditioning in front of Simon Cowell <laugh>

    Was never the biggest Bowie fan ...even though ziggy stardust was my first ever self bought LP ..he still did some cracking earlier stuff ...this is my submission for the bowie thread .... he was the producer and his (supposedely improvised on the spot ) backing vocals make this song for me (really liked his production with Iggy Pop /Eno too)



    Beyond certain individual tracks ..I really admire the way he kept pushing boundaries/ re inventing himself, always trying new things out etc etc ..even if I bounced off quite few of the changes.. speaking of which

    I like the Velvet Underground's Waiting for the Man and Bowie did a good version of it. Both Lou Reed and Bowie are now dead, two legends of music and culture.
