I am thinking of giving the white collar boxing a try. They have posters up at work: looks like the ideal way to unwind after dealing with folk at work all day. I boxed a bit at Uni. Crusierweight in those days, definitely heavier than that now. Her indoors has decided to do the 5/2 diet so I going to keep her company. I could do with losing a kilo or two (or 20).
Be careful on cutting back on certain foods or denying yourself simple pleasures. I have heard it can have a detrimental affect on ones sperm count
Best method I've found is to catch flu. Had a bout of it for two weeks over summer; barely ate anything, didn't drink and lost a stone in weight. Worked a lot better than any fad diet.
Don't, its not healthy or sustainable. You're basically starving your body for two days then when you return to eating normally your body is in survival mode and will store as much as possible as fat making it counter-productive. Not to mention it will play havoc with blood sugar levels, hormone regulation and metabolism, it will also make you miserable for two days a week.
My tip to control your weight is to have a high metabolism and a diet of pizza's,burgers, sausages, bacon etc. That's how I do it but, at 11 and a half stone, I'm a bit of a fat ****.
Tell me about it, my missus is doing slimming world and if I hear the word 'sin' one more time im gonna hold her down, stuff her gob full of crisps and chocolate and then ask her how many sins were in that, then do a massive **** on her and piss off to the footy.
I've heard the opposite, your body thinks you are in trouble and need to repopulate the planet before it's too late so you get a spunk overload
Back in the gym tomorrow. Had stopped because my right leg and knee played me up everytime I went. Turns out I have siatica. I have been doing some exercises of the net and taking some pain relief and it feels like it is working.
She's just finished weighing out the tuna and ironing the rocket for tea. 1/2 a boiled egg is 120 calories etc etc etc. Fortunately she knows **** all about the bacon and sausage sarnie this morning on Goulton Street. Mullerlight for pud. Chicken Balti pie and a few beers tomorrow night.
