No loss but it frees up a wage for a replacement winger hopefully someone without billy big bollocks attitude, you must realise you're crap if you get loaned out to Hartlepool
Rumours that Fleetwood have made a formal offer for Pierre have been denied by Wycombe. No smoke without fire. I guess Wycombe are using the word "Formal" to deny the rumour. A figure of £100k has been quoted, which is an insult. The rumour also claims Wycombe are holding out for at least £350k. I would say that is also an insult. Arguably the best player on the pitch Saturday. How many of those Villa players would be sold for such a measly figure? To my mind, he is easily a £1m player so the minimum they should accept is £500k plus sell ons.
Thinking about it, not only would £100k be a ridiculously low price for Pierre, but we would almost certainly be sacrificing a play-off place. How much is that worth?
Fleetwood are a struggling side in a division above not much of a move you could understand a team like Burton
I just read it's bullshit Ron and no offer was made, that's the problem with football rumour sites i'm afraid.
QPR close in on Wycombe 'keeper Matt Ingram "The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in the country and QPR have moved quickly to try and sign him ahead of several Premier League and Championship sides." More
Quite so Guy. And the same applies to Pierre. No way should he go for less than 7 figures (with no decimal points). We need immediate loan back until end of season and sell on clauses too.
If this happens maybe we can sign a decent striker with some of the money, only the bottom 5 teams have fewer goals than us
Matt Ingram: QPR sign Wycombe Wanders goalkeeper QPR have signed Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Matt Ingram on a four-and-a-half-year deal for a undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at Adams Park, made 124 first-team league starts for Wycombe since making his debut in March 2013. "Matt is one for the future," said R's boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. "He's big, strong, level-headed, works hard and shows the right mentality. I think we have bought another good asset for the club." http://www.getbucks.co.uk/sport/football/news/qpr-sign-wycombe-star-matt-10778079
£400,000 plus add ons is the rumour not too shabby if true. Now for god's sake bring in a striker as well as an understudy for Lynch, yes we have debt but surely some of the money can be used to improve our chances of promotion. Good luck to Matt i hope he does well.
Looks who's back! @Paris_Hall returns on loan from #Millwall for the rest of the season. https://t.co/dUcRpKb5Dp
