Question for Leeds fans

I personally don't believe that any on your board doubt that your have their best interested at heart

Supermod's agenda is to do what is right for the site - not just an individual board - so we need rules that work across all football forums

My answer above is sufficient for the moment - as we are only considering the situation - whitejock's comments mean we need to have a policy that is seen to be fair across all the football boards & if all irritating posters are band - heaven help the Mackems

As you can see from the moderators board we have implemented a change in the rules re permanent bans

 

Now there is an irritant that needs a ban

 

With all due respect, can we not be left to police our own board?

However - I would have expected at least one of the mods on here - as part of their mod duties - to tell us about the questions directed to the SM on Jocks thread - so that we could consider the implications

Had you done this on the mod board we could have discussed it quietly without all the usual suspects having their say

Your problem was either Jock or Leeds60 was too clever with their questions for the matter to be ignored

Usual suspects? We are the people who use the board. And some come here hard though it is to believe to read the rubbish we post. Would you rather we stop?

The thread hadnt run its course. I said to Jock I would be replying to him once I was back on my laptop. That was today being a Monday, by then you had locked the thread and went on to open this one.

The Don, El and myself were working behind the scenes and didnt ask for you intervention as it wasnt needed yet.

I personally don’t think you’re going to find a one size fits all framework across multiple boards, I dont envy your task if you try to implement then enforce it!
So, due to one posters criticism of the current status quo you are planning on ripping up the rule book and laying some more down? How about the silent others that are happy with the current format? Just to put that in perspective, what do you propose to do with the current 6/12 ratio vote above? Try and please the 6 or go with the majority?

Supermods are generally hated - I find it an interesting situation - cos I was a nurse in my working life so am used to being loved

Of course we are going to have challenging conversations, I need to do whatever it takes to keep this board active and happy and you have a responsibilty of over seeing that for every poster. Please dont ever take anything I say personally Im always going to come out guns blazing to defend the job our moderators do and everyone of our posters. Thats one of the reasons it took so long to ban Leeds60 and actually cost us posters in trying to keep everyone happy.

WJ's post was designed to stir **** - he has succeeded, and unfortunately it will create far more work for the mods/supermods and have serious repercussions if they decide rules need to be changed/clarified like he has asked - and NO, he wasn't representing ALL contributors!!

I'm sure the majority on here do not want the format or rules changed in any way.
Should have deleted that thread straight away!!
