Good plan Ron. The official sight don't have the friendlies on the fixture list. So at least we can look back and see what the results were and comment etc.

I thought the 1st half team were better than the 2nd half team. Tunnicliffe looked very good, as were Beavon and Donnelly. Matt McClure looked sharp. Joel Grant in the 2nd half looked quick, Jordan Ibe scored a cracker. In summary I would say Tunnicliffe should be 1st choice ahead of Winfield .
Hopefully going to Braintree on Saturday, I will post my thoughts if I go.

As long as we do all our wibble-wobbling in pre-season, I don't mind. We thrashed Chelsea 5-1 pre last season so they sent their first team this year and we lost 3-0. Not too disheartened at that.

Braintree are only one division below you aren't they Atcham? Maybe you'll be playing them in 2012/13. More than happy with our pre-season, getting us perfectly equipped for a life in League 1. Gaz Ainsworth's doing a sterling job, he's managed to land his shots RIGHT on the goal line during practice, it's uncanny.

Well that's the end of the pre-season friendlies. Some interesting names that haven't been mentioned before, including the name "trialist".
