seems like you can make a similar transfer if you wish. Shelvey is arrogant and incompetent, despite being supremely gifted he's a negative influence. The Jack Cork transfer shows there is value in the market, and £10mill for Shelvey is a respectable amount of profit. And deserves a better club? Shaqiri at Stoke, Cabaye at Palace, Payet at West Ham, all bigger better players at similar level clubs. Shelvey could barely shine Bony's shoes, never mind compete with Siggy/Cork/Ayew/Williams or even Michu in a happy squad. All named before are streets ahead

A goal every 2 games and £15mill profit a waste? Skeptical...

England international this season...end of discussion.. He really needs to leave for his sake and who can blame him.....By next season when we are back in the lower leagues there will be many of his team mates wanting to join him in leaving anyway. So i would leave ASAP if i was you shelvey...<ok>

Leon has never had a cap. Does that make Jonjo a better player?

Dai this obvious wumming is getting tedious now.

The end of the discussion began when you started dai , and the comedy hour ensued buddy .....quality entertainment though.
The only thing I agree with is he belongs elsewhere but goes downhill from there in a hurry

Who is wumming ??? i am not that you can bet your life on......Leon was obviously not good enough or he would have been selected in the squad at the very least. Shelvey was selected and he made the first team and that's a fact.....He needs to leave Swansea for a better club and there are many to chose from in the premiership to keep his hopes alive, He wont do that with us now as we are in serious melt down with a chairman and board that dont know what to do about it.....I feel sorry for Curtis left holding the baby...poor sod...

Shelvey was picked to rest Siggy basically...oops , thought you were talking about today .
A few seasons ago they took a survey of managers and asked if you could have one midfielder from an opposing team who would you select ... I believe Britton was the most chosen .

Of course he was as Curtis says he wants to build around shelvey as a key player for us..<laugh> We did not need to rest anyone with the way we are performing and played our full team against a league 2 opposition......There was no better game to give the full team much needed confidence but Curtis is so inexperienced that his option is to pull names out of a hat of most of the fringe players and make Bartley captain who gave away a penalty ... A brilliant piece of management <laugh>The rest is history of going in the record books as being out played out thought by a 2nd division club....

I am not going to sit here through the disgraceful way we approached the game and make up excuses for the club. I am angry with the way jinx and the board have come to the conclusion that Curtis is the man for the job when a blind man can see he is way out of his depth, He knows it as well and because he is a nice guy he will try his best.....Its a joke man surely you can see that......Sod bloody excuses that wont save us will it......can you honestly say that now Curtis is in control that he will get us enough points to stay up because i cant.....I assumed through logic that jinx would have got a proper manager by now and a striker and i was confident of reaching 38 - 39 points and just making safety....I cant see us making the 30 mark now so that's why im angry with the way the club is being run ATM.....If we end up going down then that will be the end of the good times for a long time......I have seen it all before....

forgive me as English is my second language but isn't this an oxymoron?

"he is wasted with us and should tell curt who wants him to stuff the club up his arse and move to a club with better fans who most don't have a clue"
