Still dont understand why we didnt resign Elia he would of cost 4m and for me is better than Juanmi , Gaston and would have been a useful squad player

He perhaps could have made the bench.

I have no beef with Koeman i want him to stay, and i have no problem with not picking the youth but surely there is someone in teh youth team better than some of the players on our bench

    Gaston - is leaving
    Martina - terrible
    Yoshida - Average at best
    Juanmi - Not good enough

Oh and thank god Forster is back to replace the traffic cone

He's bigger, stronger and playing better than he did last season but Koeman isn't interested in the youth. He could be in the squad instead of Ramerez or Juami but Koeman would prefer to buy in rather than risk youth. Not saying that the U21s are better but until they train with the first team and get the opportunity on the pitch how will we know?

People saying we need a striker - agreed - but in my opinion we are also crying out for some more creativity out wide/in midfield. Get a Mane replacement in now and it gives them time to settle!

Shelvey, Townsend, Austin, Byram, Berahino all up for grabs , all english and all no doubt wanting to impress before euro 2016!!! Id certainly look at some of these.

Loan Townsend til the end of the season if it works out swap him for wanyama (who clearly wont sign a new deal)

Austin I'm undecided on. We need goals, but I've kept thinking he wasn't for us, so I'm not sure what I think!

Shelvey I mentioned last week... Interesting.

Bryam would be interesting too. I've only seen bits and bobs.

Berahino is an undoubted talent but is he going to make the dressing room worse?

Townsend. Mmm Inlike to think of him as AnDROSS....

Happily take Byram and Shelvey. The others? Not for me.

Typical contradictions against Ron and the board.

Complaints that we're not playing enough youth. Followed by complaints about why we've not signed a striker and we should buy more players.

Players that would put a further gap between the youth and the first team

Not got a problem with youth players not being picked my problem is the stack of ****e squad players on the bench that are in their way, if top quality players are bought in not 1 saints fan would complain about the youth not playing. Unless ofcourse there was a Bale in the youth not getting in , which there isn't

He pretty much created our goal with some very neat footwork under pressure.

I don't think you can include Stekkers. He is only here because of Fraser's injury. Without that we'd have hd to spend a lot of money on a keeper. He's covering our no.1, not really being part of a pile. I'm not saying you have to like him but he's not here taking space of a kid on the bench like some of the others mentioned; he is our temporary number 1.

Fair enough although you could argue he is blocking Gazzanigga who i think is better
