They don't even have a match day thread on the game. Only about 4,000 in the ground per BBC Wales. How things have changed.
No, not any more sure than you are. It's how I view the situation, the same way you draw your conclusion, I suppose
Attendance was 4782.If it wasn't a cup match they would have counted season tickets giving a total of 14,000.
Got nothing to do with winning or losing , only respect for the competition itself . Pitiful how the race for money is ruining everything . On top of that we could have used this game to prepare actual 2nd stringers for the tough Premier League race to survive ...,mismanagement and greed , a bad combo We had no one on defence with any expierence and no one on the bench to replace them I wouldn't put that defence out against a conference team and expect a result, they are almost as bad as Sunderlands first team defence ...lol
I wasn't really mocking,Just shining a little light into the gloom for those who are feeling suicidal. I agree that things are looking very bad,and it could get even worse on Wednesday.
Imo I consider both more than adequate to have started in this game Amat and Bartley . along with Cork, Shelvey Gomis , Emnes who have all started games this season and PL league games at that ,that side should have been enough, what Curtis failed to do today was to have players on the bench who could be game changers if need be , and the introduction of barrow was imo too little too late .I don't call it disrespectful but poor management on the day. I'm not sure what you mean by greed , we as a Club to survive in the near future need to remain in the PL whether we won or not today is immaterial in that aim . just as a remainder Wigan won the FA cup and were demoted in the same season , they're now playing in League Division 1 ,the future of my Club is more important than progressing further in the FA cup and that's the reality.
This game will have no berring on the Wednesday game , unless we throw out the same kinda lineup which is highly unlikely . 11 changes for Wednesday's game , watch and see . That's what makes this line up so stupid really , we had no intention of winning this game imo.
Sorry Matt , I call this line up totally disrespectful to the competition , especially defence . Even with the game against Palace we kept some sort of stability toward defence ....3. - 2 loss flatters us
Roof it had a big bearing on Wednesdays game , we don't have the "best squad" ever as previously proven and yes I expect there will be at least 10 changes to Wednesdays game and rightly so .I don't believe we didn't intend winning todays game but if it's proven then I'll hold my hands up .
Big Sam made 7 changes, Curt made 10. Sunderland have an extra day's rest. I think everyone would agree that making 10 changes, in normal circumstances, is too many. However, Wednesday is a 6 pointer, and Curt believed he needed to protect the "first team". Probably, if we were scheduled to play the likes of Arsenal or Citeh away on Wednesday, he may have picked a stronger team today....
What if we get no striker in and Gomis goes , which if very viable , why not give Eder some time if we are going to possibly have to lean on him .If Eder is on the bench , he must be fit . If Rangel gets hurt is Shepherd going to be his replacement , Naughton should have been given the start in preparation for playing important games . If I had my way , Bartley would never play another minute , Williams should have started . It can never be proved , but we took a dive this game . We could have put out a better team , gave important minutes to important players and still put out our top team on Wednesday imo . We will win our game on Wednesday and people will try to justify this line up for today's game and they will be wrong , we should have won them both and been respectful at the same time
It's not so much about the changes but the way we played the game, There was no organization or game plan by Curtis whatsoever. Curt made Bartley captain ffs and played the worst back 4 ever and now curt says he is very disappointed with the way we played and a huge set back as i put a side out i thought was good enough to win...... Do me a favour curt any casual fan could see you got everything wrong even the bench.......If you thought we put out a strong side then there is no hope because if you cant work out how to beat a league 2 side how the hell are you going to beat a premiership manager with experience and have strengthened.......Jinx and the board deserve relegation and their loss of the biggest pay day ever for poor and short sightless at how bad we look and the thinking that curtis can keep us up without fixing our striker problem.....shocking and self inflicted.....
