Now i know we give young James a right slagging on Not606...........but is it his fault?

Perch played under Newcastle assistant manager Colin Calderwood at Forest . This the same bloke who coached us to relegation and then made Hughton's tea and coffee. Perch only made 4 appearances for Forest the season we bought him. He must have thought all his birthdays had come at once when Newcastle came knocking.
The other villain in the piece Manager Billy Davies said at the time: "We must be doing something right if other teams in our division want our players.
"But we're looking to build a squad, not dismantle one. He's not leaving."
Davies has also insisted that he did not want to, or have to, sell players in the January transfer window.

So there you have it.........duff former coach, delusional manager plus young lad plying his trade for only 17 games that season in the Championship who is offered a 4 year deal at a top club. <doh>
    .................................

Billy Davies is presently unemployed..........says it all really

4 games? more like 17 after a 3 month injury lay-off. Calderwood also didn't coach us to relegation and should be appreciated for his work in getting us promoted.

Yes. Everyone knows but it's not the lads fault. In my view his 5 yellows in 5 games scared off AP when he reviewed the squad. Not likely EVER to get a run in the team.

    FACT:
Calderwood was appointed first team coach at Newcastle United on 26 January 2009. Toon were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the season

True, but you made it sound like he was at fault which we both know is complete and utter bollocks.

Another tiresome article from holystone, who actually gives a **** who has coached or what team he's been at, the facts are that hes here, hes not good enough, and we should be looking to move him on, nothing more to it.

I suggest you take a look at your stats for Perch, he had played several full seasons for Forest in the Championship and League One.
