I ended up missing most of the 2nd half. How was it? Was 1-1 a fair scoreline?

    Probably.

Rangers had the better of the second half, and Naismith missed a couple of decent chances. But McGregor had a great save from Obua (and obviously the first half chances). So 1-1 is about right. <ok>

Gers where stronger in the 2nd half, Hearts tailed off a wee bit but 1-1 was fair enough.

Calatron doesn't want to look back to last season and no one could blame him. Many strange occurrences that all seemed to help the bears.
The ibrox fairy story which resulted in boogie and Diouf not getting at least 6 matches suspension and also Sally getting off.
Another event was Hearts fielding an understrength side against Rangers at the end of the season to have their best team available to
play against Celtic a few nights later.
Could one believe if Hearts had tried to draw with Rangers that night, they could and the league title may not be at that dreadful place.

Rangers defence looked woeful for the first half-hour and Hearts could have scored more. We also didn't create much going forward in the first-half. We were much improved in the second-half and 1-1 was probably a fair result.

Ortiz couldn't get past his man on the outside, and ended up having to cut infield to produce anything. I hope we haven't bought another Rothen. It's early days, but I think we really need another creative midfield player. We can't always rely on Davis.

Lennon's ban which he served every day that he should was nothing to do with my post, but the fact that Hearts rested key players for the Saturday match against Rangers so that they would be fully rested and ready for Rangers the following Wednesday.
I thought a supporter like yourself would at least attend the home games, but maybe you are all mouth and no substance.

Great result for us today, but only if we win tomorrow.

Don't really want to get caught up in the C**p of last season, however, would've been interesting to see how Lord Walter would've coped with the stuff aimed int Lennon's direction.

I stick by my feeling that Celtic were the best team inthe SPL last season, we could do nothing to influence how other teams played against Rangurs in the run-in and the end, it was ex-Rangurs players' sides that won Rangurs the title.

If there's nothing extraordinary this year, Celtic should be stong enough to win it.

It was a noble gesture for all those other players to sacrifice their win bonuses so that Rangers could win the league. We appreciate it.

I know. I cringe when I see pish like this. All those fixed matches in the SPL and FIFA never batted an eye. They are investigating matches in the part time Irish League but let the SPL slide. Maybe FIFA are in on it too <doh>

Finally a Celtic fan talking sense, I said last season Celtic played better football but weren't consistent, yet when we won the league people like that came on the forums saying all sorts of cringeworthy pish, thats why I said let's just concentrate on this season.

Calatron, you and truth and honesty as well as knowledge would make strange bed fellows.
I know absolutely nothing to do with you, but I try to go to all Celtic's home games but
I understand how a few times a year would be enough for you at Ibrox. The stench of hatred
and Orange ism would be too much for even you to put up with. Any word of tidying Ibrox up
or have they not got the money.
