Nope please do remind us of the cheating? Nothing wrong with what I said mate, we are one of the great clubs of world football that's is a fact I'm afraid Tobes, even after 20 years of mediocrity. To have high standards is paramount to success. Your getting off the point anyways chap, this thread is to slowly feed the spurs fans like haig drips of reality, slowly as not to hurt their brains, so that they can realise like yourselves that we are superior in every way.
Name any other of the 'great clubs of World football' who haven't won their domestic league for an entire generation? The accolade you hold is the club who's spent the most cash in World football without winning their domestic league. What an achievement
That's an interesting point. In each country there are a few clubs who are considered the "big" clubs. Liverpool must be the only one of them that hasn't won a league title in over 25 years. Or perhaps they're simply not considered a big club anymore.
By your logic there I'd even go as far as to say we are a world footballing institution, even without winning our domestic league in many years, we still command respect and admiration and that sure backs up my claim of being one of the biggest in football. Never thought of it like that Tobes cheers
Only in your own heads lad. Your desire to be seen as somehow 'special' is nauseatingly delusional, everything from the mythical atmosphere at the pit, to the hyperbole spouted by every Kopite who's ever bought as much as a badge. You're a cult mate.
This legacy is due to us dominating for so long both domestically and in Europe during the 70s & 80s, only two teams have managed to dominate English football for such a sustained amount of time, us and utd, we added a few more European cups than you but the point remains. That's the reason.
Who said that you numpty? I said it's the reason were still seen as footballing great. Read better as it Wasn't that hard to understand.
There's a dedicated Liverpool thread on the spurs board, I'd say that proves we command respect and admiration from other teams, ya don't see a saints thread on anyone's board bar the saints board do ya
Clearly not in my head lad, I refer again to this thread for proof that we still are seen as a world footballing great.
Meanwhile back on Earth. The legacy of that period is a generation of glory hunting plastics, who are now cramming their ale bellies into a faded Candy shirt and 'attending' the match down their local alehouse. You topped up your plassie quota with the fluke of 2005. However, the next generation of plassie have chosen Chelsea, United and now City as their bandwagon of choice. Your history is fading and without some tangible success to keep the day trippers interested you'll rapidly become just another former big club who used to win things......
Fixed. One of the reasons that you get that sort of attention is because of the insidious infiltration of the media by your ex-players and twats like Mickey Quinn. Any game on the TV or radio seems to have some idiot with a horrible accent chatting about the Scouse on it, for some reason.
Don't be so bitter Toby success breeds as you say "plasies" winning all those trophies for all those years and a fair few since might I add has its downfalls as you would know.... No, no you wouldn't know but the point remains, that our name is up with the greats of the game, and probably will be for another 20 years regardless of trophies, that's what a legacy is mate.
Historypool A tale of delusion and bitterness As you lot calling anyone bitter is beyond parody, you're the most bitter ****s around mate. The mere mention of the word United brings you out in hives.
Haha damned if ya do, damned if ya don't eh If the last 6years (which haig referenced) is ancient history to you then so be it. I just wanted to make sure haig and all the other spurs fans knew that in that same time we have in fact done better than them. You keep going off topic it's an effort to school blueshites, deluded Spuds & and a solemn saints fan (must be lost) all at the same time but I think I've done a good job tbh
