    follow it but my team was in the regional division (4th) now promoted to the 3rd so might get to see them on tv a bit

    shame it was a draw but a very high quality of football at times borussia dortmund will be a surprise team in the champions league this year.

    Yeah, as far as I'm aware they consistently get the highest average attendances in Europe. Like the article says, the fans are made to feel important, and the clubs don't have their eyes out by charging them £50 for a ticket. Most Bundesliga teams charge around a tenner, and you have to pay that much to watch Blyth Spartans...

    sorry i should have said on tv on most watched. as nearly all of there stadiums are bigger than those in the premier league

    I see, well I can see why it would be, it's amazing to watch. The standard is incredibly high and they haven't caught on to the playacting thing quite as much as the rest of Europe has.

    Gelsenkirchen is twinned with Newcastle so i like Schalke. We both have massive local support and are known as big underachievers. I was watching a video on the BBC website before their game against Man U in the CL and one of there fans referenced us in comparison to them.
