Shame about the result today. At least is is only pre-season and the result is really meaningless. Can't wait for the start of the season, even better, I will going to the first three games. I am seriously starting to get Season Ticket withdrawal now. Maybe the 2012/13 season will be the season I can start again. Wedding over with and comfortably in the mortgage!!

Norway - could you pass on some suggestions to Mick for me?!

Firstly - on the app, would it be possible to have the option of going to the last page of a thread. At present, you have to scroll through all the pages to get to the end of a thread. Very annoying when the thread you are looking at has over 550 pages!!

Secondly - is there a way of having further sub-sections within the club specific forums. With the Watford boards being very active and diverse, I was wondering whether we would benefit from an "Off Topic" section, just so the main bulk of the forum and football chat doesn't get clogged up. This might be a logistical and administrative nightmare (having so many sub-sub-sub-sub-sections) but wonder whether it is possible on an ad-hoc basis.

BBW there is an option in the normal settins to show the last page first. I do not know if this can be used with a mobile telephone.

The Nest is really the off topic area, but why not write off topic at the end of the thread title, so you could have Dancing Thread - off topic or Fishing Thread - off topic.

 

Just getting comfy to watch the boxing tonight, Chisora v Fury for the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight title, personally I hope Chisora puts Fury away early!

 

BBW your first point is already being looked at , but by all means I can strengthen the case!
The second in current format may be difficult! I know on other forums there is such a division ,but those are watford only sites! If Mick did it for us he would have to do it for everyone! personally I dont think its a workable suggestion here!

I often think that most of the threads on here wander about and go off topic from time to time, but that is part of the attraction of the site. You never quite know where people's thoughts will take you, from the serious, to the silly and then the sublime.

Most threads are fairly obvious from the title if they are about football and Watford or not. It becomes a little more chaotic when the same piece of news appears several times under different headings.

Frenchie, sorry it's taken a day to answer but it's in Rinkaby, Sweden. The nearest large town is Kristianstad. Here's their mention about events in Norway:

That's a great relef as a parent of someone who's going to be there.

 

Thanks Barry, It looks as if things have settled down a bit now that they have the guy captured. The shock to the nation will be with them long after it has disappeared off the front pages for us.

Hope your lad really enjoys it. Anything that brings youngsters from different parts of the world together has to be a good thing I believe.

Further to my comment above, "The shock to the nation will be with them long after it has disappeared off the front pages for us." reminds me that you have to search very hard to find anything in the papers about NZ. Having someone living there we know that things are far from good there, but it is not the latest news, so doesn't sell papers.
