That penalty decision was a load of bollocks IMO and the fact I had money on Leicester at 7.4 had almost nothing to do with that opinion.
.. Leicester City reserves denied win against Spurs best by very poor refereeing decision ... but Spuds Top 4 bubble well and truly burst
.. there has to be intent. ..Dyer didn't even know where the ball was never mind intending to play it .. very lucky for Spuds because they didn't look like scoring tbf ..
Leicester reserves? You made 8 changes and we made 7. We even put Vorm in goal, which is worth a couple of goals to anyone!
..didn't you bring Kane, Alli and Chadli on? .. in fairness you might have missed it because it had little effect ..I suspect that 'penalty' wouldn't have been given up the end btw ..
You brought on Albrighton and Okazaki, who've played about 40 times for you this season. Chadli started for us, but he normally doesn't this season. He's been injured and it shows. As for the penalty, who knows if the ref would've given it at the other end? It was the right decision, though. Perhaps Dyer should keep his hands down a bit and it wouldn't happen?
For anything. I don't think there's any intent from Dyer at all. He turns round to run for the ball and before he knows where it is the ball has glanced off him. It's exceptionally harsh.
The referee sees it from behind, remember. Only the player knows what was in his head when he did that, but from the ref's angle it would look like he used his hand to knock the ball out of Rose's path. You can see why it was given.
