We got what we deserved in fact we got more than we deserved, if you change a team and fill it players whove hardly played a match all season and a new signing ( Digby ) who looks like hes never played the game at any level whatsoever and no wonder Barnsley don't want him you cant expect to win games no matter who the opposition is, coupled to a lack of enthusiasm or in AMNs case a lack of interest I can only assume they were told that on no account must they get injured.
Where were the challenges we see in Championship matches? why did we stand off and let them play? If we really are not interested in this competition then don't enter it rather than go through motions and take the fans for mugs, cheap tickets shouldn't mean pub team standard of football, but well played Pompey that's the way FA Cup matches should be played.
I don't think I can remember watching a Town team who so clearly just didn't want to be there, fancy playing Varney up front on his own we were the home team for Christs sake!

End of the day from what I can establish = absolutely horrific first half, slightly better second ( but Fraser and Sears did come on )

Not ideal a reply, especially considering we have Leeds H Tues / Preston H sat / then I think Pompey A and Brum A!

I would imagine, well the cynic in me our team will well depend on our 4th round cup tie. Should we have a big gun away and a potentially lucrative payday/ or at home, OR another lower league home tie then I'd imagine we may well try and go a bit heavier depending on fitness.

Should we happen to get say Boro away, then yes. Reserve reserve reserve.

An extra fixture however is quite useful for the likes of Oar / Niles / Digby / Bart.

What I really really do not understand is why Tabb didn't play one minute if he's still here. Is Coke injured, otherwise again him not playing is bizarre to say the least.

Yeah it'll be good for those players to get extra match time, although obviously the extra trip down to Pompey is not ideal. Let's see how big the incentive is on Monday night.

Oh god I hope we lose the replay I cannot put up with arrogant d****** Eddie Howe coming to town - media darlings Bournemouth on their shoestring budget bla bla bla god I hate that clown with absolute passion. His comments last season at many a club were so damn disrespectful.

It's overlooked should they go down this season they could be the next Pompey, have overspent massive figures to get to the Premier League in the first place and have dodged a fine.

Other side of the coin we could annoy the hell out of him with our style of play and if we could clatter a few and send them packing I'd probably be quite pleased!

Re Pompey, well surely give various players another go to prove their worth. No idea why Coke and Tabb didn't start first leg, if they're on the wage bill then use them for this at least !
