It was a risk to change all 4 at the back, I agree. However, I'd like to see Tabanou given a chance to get up to speed as Taylor needs competition. He didn't look great but this was 1 game. Also, Cork really is a disappointment...seems to lose the ball way too easily.

You think Gomis is here for the love of our club, same goes for Ayew. My point is that there are players throughout the English leagues that deserve a step up and yet they are denied because too many clubs think that overseas is better. It clearly isn't.

By the looks of it Taylor hasn't any competition.

I won't judge Tabanou on one game, but doesn't look good for his chances. I would have Kingsley ahead..

Wrong team, wrong tactics, wrong bench......We deserve everything we get even relegation when it comes....There is no shape with the chairman and board, we have a manager who does not have a clue and is too nice. We have players who go through the motion for their wages and don't care as they wont be here when we start our championship season and i can see us doing a tosh going from the top to the bottom in swift time if things don't change.....We can all make all the excuses we like but we have become a joke club with no ideas.

Thought Cork had a great game considering Jonjo and Grimes were nowhere to be seen.

Did it have anything to do with lack of movement around him?

In his defence, Tabanou looked good going forward, creating space for Monteros run towards goal.

Thought Cork played well considering there were no midfielders around him. Jonjo was crap and Grimes must have been wearing Harry Potters invisible cloak.

Do us all a favour Dai, go and stick your head in a microwave. Your posts are as embarrassing as some of the performances today.

However, Curtis got the team selection spot on. Win by a few goal v Sunderland, and this game will be forgotten about.

Were there too many changes? Probably
Would I have picked a similar team - definitely (I named 9 of the starting line-up earlier in the thread)
Tactics wrong? - possibly. Don't forget, we weathered the early storm, a scored a cracker but then were dealt a bum hand with the dubious penalty. Go in 1 up at half-time, different team talk, and they would be chasing the game second half.
Wednesday more important than today? - in my view a resounding YES. Hopefully, the end will justify the means.....

Credit to Oxford, they reminded me of us under Roberto.

All of this travelling to South America, I wouldn't mind us giving their manager our job the way they played.

It's so ironic that Gomis scored today ......and was probably offfukingside. Not taking the opportunity to play Eder today is says a lot about what part he will play the rest of the season .....what a waste of money without a real look .

Go-miss didn't want to be there and was invisible first half, nothing but a sponging mercenary, we need to get rid of the joke ASAP...........<ok>

<laugh> Hey Valley. You forgot :

"Bake on full heat for 10 minutes if 750W or 15 mins if 850+W. Leave lest for two minutes, open up top of skull, stir thoroughly, leave stand for two minutes then cook again for a further 5 minutes. Put lid back on skull then return to PC to post something sensible."

    <ok>
