It was bad but QPR got a similar decision at Anfield years back. That Spurs over the line goal which was disallowed at Old Trafford and a Reading goal which was actually wide against us were probably the worst I have seen. Make no mistake though - the RVP one was dreadful

Ok, sending off the wrong player is pretty ****ing stupid <laugh>

But sending someone off for kicking the ball away literally just after the whistle in a stadium full of whistling fans, in the champions league in a game of such importance... It was a really ****ing stupid decision and cost us the tie. Whenever I think of failure ref displays that one jumps straight into my head...what a ****.

What you have to remember with HIAG is that the highlight of his season is praying that Arsenal get knocked out of a cup that his team are too **** to even qualify for.

It's pathetic, but that's what he thrives on <ok>

The difference is, Arsenal get to play the likes of Barca and Bayern season in season out, Spurs get beatings from Young Boys etc.

Spurs biggest European thrashing: COLOGNE 8 SPURS 0
Spurs suffered a record European defeat in 1995 when German side Cologne thrashed them in the Intertoto Cup, 22/7/1995.

Spurs biggest aggregate thrashing[over 2 games home and away] 11 - 1 has happened twice - Manchester City 2014, and Arsenal 1935.
Tottenham were spanked 11-1 on aggregate over home and away fixtures by Manchester City 5-1 6-0 away and then 5-1 at home, and previously in the league it was in the 1934/35 season, when they were thrashed 5-1 away to Arsenal and then 6-0 at home.

1961 - Spurs last league title
1991 - Spurs last FA Cup win

when it comes to failure Spurs are truly Special <applause>

We knocked Young Boys out. You got beaten by Vauxhall Astra in the qualifiers, though.
We literally played a bunch of trialists and youth players, many of whom never played for the club again.
Alan Pardew was out of contract and got a game in that one, IIRC.
I'm surprised that the Intertoto Cup actually counts, to be honest.

were you playing trialists and youth players when you lost 11-1 on aggregate against City in 2014 ? or against us in 1935 ?

HIAG's approach to wumming is that when it blows up in his face, he still tries to claim victory and make outlandish claims about his 'wum-mastery'

He is like the North Korea of not606, making bullshit claims about Landing on Saturn, or winning the world cup, or that Unicorns are real. Not realising that the rest of the world is ridiculing them.

Can you see either of those games mentioned in the quote? No? Probably not then, eh? <doh>
Given that one of the games was 80 years ago though, I've literally no idea. I doubt that you do, either.

You got slaughtered 8-0 by Loughborough for yours, so perhaps you shouldn't be going back that far?
Your record European loss was this season though, so maybe you were right to go a bit Scouse.

  17. A team can get thrashed, and it can be undeserved.

By far the most humiliating way to get beaten is the way that Arsenal capitulated to Barca in that infamous game, when Arsenal didn't manage a single shot on target, Barca had something like 85% possession, and Arsenal's goal was one that Barca scored for them. It was a match that was extraordinary for all the wrong reasons. The highlight was, of course, Bentdner - the self-proclaimed "greatest striker in the world" - tripping arse-over-tit when performing an air-kick! It was an utter disgrace!

you seem to watch a lot of Arsenal games HIAG, are you sure you aren't a Gooner, or is it something you would like to be.

what was the score from that infamous game ?

    #78
  19. If the Barca players hadn't been pissing themselves laughing all game, it would have been a cricket score!

    But that's my point, G4E!

Barca ought to have gone into double-figures that game, but Arsenal did enough desperate, last-ditch defending to keep it (seemingly) reasonable. However, anyone who saw that game was left in absolutely no doubt that Arsenal were utterly humiliated.

    HIAG
I've often said that HIAG might actually be a Gooner trolling the Spuds. Given the level of **** he comes out with about Spurs and Arsenal and the constant ridicule he invites, you would think that it was done by somebody deliberately making a Spurs fan look like a bellend.

Or he could just be a genuine bellend I suppose.
