Tabanou has had zero game time and judging a player on one game is very harsh, particularly as Oxford outplayed every one of ours on the pitch. The lad is capable and his record proves that, but he was foolishly thrown under the bus by Monk. Definitely a player worth persevering with and Curtis agrees with me on this. How we do that now we're out of the Cup is questionable.

The point for me is that the team that was out there should have been good enough. But obviously not, as it goes.

Also, Gomis even looks out of his depth against a L2 defence.

Do people really think that was the ideal preparation for such important matches coming up, when you're losing you're losing no matter the level difference!!!!...

Hindsight is great, eh lads? <doh> I'm actually surprised so many first teamers were on the pitch. Some of you (like our resident village idiot) would have Curtis pick our first 11 for both games. Get real! We had the players to win that but Oxford wanted it more. Sooooo much at stake in the Prem this season. The Cup can wait.

Bartley in any defence I can assure anyone is not hindsight!!

Then you place 2 'rookies' in the scheme of Swansea City either side!!!

First signs are not to good, but I will reserve judgement until he's had a few more games, though he will not push Taylor for the LB position......<ok>

Maybe you should start giving some credit to Oxford, Swans Are Flying. People are reading too much into this game. I wouldn't. The big test is Wednesday and whether we have what it takes to break down a side that will definitely park the bus.

I expected Naughton to have played. Is he injured - or is one of Rangel and Taylor doubtful for Wednesday?

Out thought and bullied off the ball Why do most of our players need a lifetime to get the ball under control?
Men against boys.To be fair to the youngsters, the likes of Emnes and Gomis were not holding up the ball and therefore Oxford were able to run at as all afternoon. I will reserve further judgement after the Sunderland game.

Very disappointed with Cork and Grimes. At this level they should have strolled it.Both weak, slow and lacked awareness.

The bottom line is that Oxford wanted it far more than our lads did, and they played the better football when it mattered...........<ok>

This game was for the taking if we had played a full strength team i don't care what our resident Muppet says. Our defence lost us that game being so poor that i dont know what Curtis was thinking about. The bench was a poor selection that could not save us and Barrow should have been on at the start......Opportunity given away of an FA cup run and confident building for the first team who needs it before they play Sunderland......Another fiasco made to the other fiasco decisions made this season already.....

Couldn't have put this any different, truly shocking!! Now this wasn't Curtis's fault, but on the other hand, the defence choice was not defensable. The quicker we never have to rely on Bartley again the better!! I'm not going to have a go at the full-backs themselves, but I do think the calling for Taylor to always be dropped will certainly have vanished. Shepard young lad, the boy will only gain & learn from this. Thought Kingsley showed great promise when he came on, well done lad. Shelvey, England international, where do we start!!..

I agree. Oxford were excellent today and it really should be a kick in the arse for some of our overseas mercenaries. There is plenty of football talent in the UK, we just need some scouts who know what to look for. Oxfords players are on a fraction of our players' salaries, yet despite that they can still kick a ball on target.

Anyway, disappointed with the result but fair play to Oxford and good luck to them. We need to focus now on Wednesday and the board need to pull their fingers out and bring in some new talent....and ship out the rubbish.

Shelvey and Gomis would never be in the starting XI if I was manager, utter cack............<ok>

By the way the Turnip Shelvey was arguing with Swansea fans after the game?
