As a non banter or wum question.

Everton have to play city on Wednesday. They might have has 3? Players who will start v city? City played aguero and a couple others..... this could be an interesting game.

However utd have just played the late game with probably 9 out-of first 11 and are expected to turn round and go to Newcastle on Tuesday evening.
That seems quite the task to me right now.... thoughts on this?

Arsenal also rested players this weekend. Giroud, Walcott, kosceilny, Bellarin, Czech and ox played still. Lfc have every player available rested and no intention of playing benteke. It's just down to if shako is fitt or not.

It seems to me utd have most to do to turn round for midweek.

Playing Saturday/Wednesday is no different to playing normal mid-week games in the league, I would hope our players are fit enough to cope with that.

To be honest think fitness is least of your concerns at the moment, even UIR can't be happy with way you guys are playing?!

I don't think anybody is happy with the way we are playing right now (even UiR), but to suggest a premier league team cant play 2 games in a week is pure nonsense.

Yup... seems to me after it all... and how europe also showed up issues that you'd have at least a mild concern

Ok then Utd to win v newcastle.

Btw it's not saturday to weds. It's sat evening to Tuesday evening.

    Mild difference

That is the way premiership football has always been, nothing new here. We are talking about extremely well paid athletes whose whole life is designed around training for this. If they cant cope they are in the wrong job.

I'm not disagreeing, but how often do we hear how teams struggle playing X amount of games in a week or in quick succession. We all think should be able to cope with the demands, but let's be honest, none of us have been in that situation so none of us actually know whether you can perform to 100%

Hope 2 or 3 don't get injured then.

Utd did have midweek off last week though so I'm sure it's no biggie.

You lot really don't have to give any thought to who is or isn't available for you or United. Sit back, hit us on the break, you win. It would be the same game and result if you played your U16 side and we had a fully fit squad. You'll be doing us a favour!

Not even thinking of that game. Was just looking at midweek fixtures and how they have fallen.

Yup. 3-2 now though, wouldn't be surprised to see them take at least a draw from this position.
