Think the problem is we had a chief scout who thought Mitrovic was a good idea, should have gone and got Austin. Loic Remy on loan until the end of the season please or a striker like that.
The thing is his scoring record was good till he came here... But again it proves that the premiership is world class and you cant but good players from average leagues and expect to win games.....
And im going out on a limb here... But Ayoze seems to get away from criticism because he seems a nice boy who tries hard but as a striker,,,,,,,, his scoring record is ****.... Hes young ok.... i get that but he is not the finished article and he is a luxury player in this team!
Must have been a very **** league because he's the biggest waste of money we've ever had and that says something. 3 goals so far and one of them was from the goal line so he couldn't really miss.
McClaren doesn't have to be a manager, he has to be a coach and if he had better goddam players we'd get better results. Anyone baying for his blood has lost the plot, in my book. It solves nothing. In fact, it would be worse because Penfold/Carr would essentially be hanging the coach out to dry for THEIR failings. They never carried enough of the can with Pardew, people should be hounding them or raising an awareness for their failings.
I concur................. our venom should now be firmly directed at Ashley, Penfold and Carr. Those three are the constants here. McClaren is working within 'The Structure' and 'it' doesn't work.
He's out of his depth. We need something new and before this window closes so he can get his own players in. We are dying............./
But that's the point isn't it........................ any manager doesn't get 'his own' players in.................... he gets the players given to him by Graham Carr. Dictated by 'The Structure' Pep Guardiola would struggle with the ****e that our managers are forced to work with.
Suck it up chaps. We are stuck with fatty and tufty till we get relegated in May. We will sign no one decent in Jan either. Acceptance is the first step on the path of enlightenment.
The problem with Tufty is his self delusion, if he looks in the mirror and can't see how crap he looks with that hair then how can he recognise any other problem that he faces, get a hair cut and maybe his players would take him more seriously as well, you all know that if we had a boss who looked like that he would have the piss ripped out of him behind his back and no-one would take him seriously.
