Ashton just hit the nail on the head before the 3rd "Norwich have had some good play but have never really looked like scoring".

Followed up after the goal by saying "its been all too easy for man city"

City are a great team but its very frustrating going out without so much as a whimper :-/

It's a shame we have been drawn against 3 Prem teams in the cups this season. Makes it all feel a little less interesting when you're just adding a third league match essentially.

    Not many surprising results today.

Eastleigh drawing with Bolton is probably the highlight, with Bristol City drawing at West Brom

I just don't even bother watching us in the cup games anymore.

There is no point. It's all half arsed stuff and has been for as long as I can remember. You'd be better off setting fire to the money, at least it gives you a few seconds of warmth.

Pellegrini said he's happy with the 3 points.

Poor old sod doesn't know where he is or what he's doing, with all these Pep rumors.

Was like a library today problem with cup games is most of the season ticket holders don't turn up and the ground is full of armchair fans who don't shout , have no passion no togetherness, I was like loner singing OTBC at the start knew immediately I should have stayed at home

Definetly my last cup game ever should have gone and watched Kings Lynn sure that would have been more entertaining

Thought the lads did okish Martin was poor in the middle seemed to pass straight to them each time

No Brady, Tettey, Redders, Hoolahoops,Rudd and Dave from the start was telling how much these guys do for us
Hope they are all back in with Jarvis for Wednesday

    OTBC!

I was tempted to go, but knew it would be a thrashing, we wouldn't turn up and I know what cup game atmos is like. Shame.

Having only seen the highlights, if that's the right word, I don't think Ruddy will be getting his place back too quickly. Could have done a lot better with the third goal.

Took the words out of my mouth, DH. The BBC call them 'highlights' - I can think of a different word to use <grr> Third goal great skills from DeBruyne, but shockingly poor keeping by JR!

Far too easy for Citeh today - we had a couple of decent efforts ("Sideways" Dorrans had a good pop in the first half) but we were far too slow and far too predictable in our build up. Citeh were zippy and bright and a class above us - interesting to see them fielding such a strong line-up.

Positives ? Errr... I didn't get wet ....... Vadis showed some nice touches ....... Cam ran his heart out ......... Wisdom played ok ...... errrr ..... I predicted the correct score in the CPL ...... errr that's it.
