The magic of the cup etc.

Ordinarily this would be an opportunity to rest a young player like Tony Montana but without him in the team United (M) will score roughly zero goals.

As ever it will be interesting to see how many players are played out of position.

I expect us to labour to a 0-0 or 1-1 draw and for the manager to consider it an excellent result and further proof that the process is in full flight.

Playing against a third division team at home should be straightforward enough. Unfortunately, we have a manager who doesn't know the meaning of the word 'straightforward'

Nether the less, it's the perfect opportunity for LVG to play the kids. Peirera and Januzaj in the wings, Martial up front and McNair in defence.

Should be the perfect warm-up for when Utd wipe Anfield clean.

They're doing ok in the second division. Someone needs to tell LVG that!

We will thrash them, we will cut them to ribbons - LVG will show them no mercy whatsoever..............I'm going 0 - 0.

I shall be watching from the comfort of my settee. Planning on having bbq ribs, chicken wings, beef brisket and fries while watching what I assume will probably send me to sleep.

They're holding their own against us. Shocking really. Considering inserting pins under my toe nails..

I'm hearing chants of Jose Mourinho ringing around OT.

  16. Hey, lads! I know none of you are liking what you're being forced to witness, and I know it must be deeply embarrassing for all of you - hell, even the term "Man United" cconjures up humiliation and ridicule - but you must all take heart from the fact that you are still in this match.

We are the most egalitarian team in the world. We treat all teams with equal respect. Sheffield United get the same respect as a Man City, Barcelona or Real Madrid. <laugh>

    Three DMs today??

Juan Mata on 30 September, 2015, was last Manchester United player to score in first half at Old Trafford - 101 days ago #mufc

And even that was a penalty (standard)
