Sounds like we are making it easy for them :-/ Cant we, for once, be a team that doesnt look to roll over against big teams!!! Aguero is amazing but lets have a bit of fight!
Don't remember us "rolling over" in any other game against the supposed big teams this season. We beat Man Utd a few weeks ago.
No, listening to Chris Goreham and Dean Ashton on Radio Norfolk via Canaries Player. The main problem is dealing with the pace of ManCity players. Our own attacks have been good, but not quite good enough, Ashton says.
Thanks - need to set up a VPN to access BBC radio online here, and it's proving difficult this New Year...
Our much changed line-up hasn't helped, and we are really missing Brady today. Jerome has played well, but up against 2 good CBs. Odjidja and Howson have both looked sharp and Dorrans had a shot the keeper could only turn around the post.
We have a history of getting beaten without much of a fight against big teams. Liverpool (or Suarez), City, Chelsea (and a weak Chelsea this year), United (normally) etc. I dont mean roll over as in getting humped (though that has been the case occasionally) but i mean losing without being much of a threat. This is why teams like Swansea (less so recently), Bournmouth, Leicester, Watford and Palace are being lauded by pundits and we are still "little old Norwich"... those teams take the game to the so called big teams and give them a real run! Yes we beat United and im not upset at how we have done generally this year... but can you see what i mean? It seems that today we are standing off and giving far too much respect to the stars. First goal sounded good but 2nd sounded like we gave Aguero far too much space.
2nd half sounds better already. We are actually attacking them a bit more. Taking the game to them... counter for them might be dangerous now :-/
3-0. At least we can concentrate on the league, but a shame that this will dent our recent confidence.
