    Addressing some of your concerns.

    1. Kylo ren got beat because he was injured, and he has also no dueling experience. When you people say he's the most powerful Sith in the universe, he IS the only Sith in the universe, apart from his master maybe.

    2. Finn hardly went toe to toe with Kylo. He was beaten within about 30 seconds.

Kylo Ren was training with Luke Skywalker and a bunch of Jedi. He killed all of them except Luke, who ran away to Scotland. The only thing basic foes like Finn can do is 1. shoot and hope, from a distance, or 2. run. Not spark up a sabre and give it a go. Ludicrous. The story should never have had him in that position.

In terms of the overall picture, it's inconceivable he's the only Sith any more than Luke/Rey are the only Jedi, even taking his master Spork into consideration.

One other thing that irks me. Leia has the force. She is a Skywalker, daughter of Vader. Why is it never mentioned, why did she never use a sabre, why does she never use the force?! It's not like Anakins power just skipped a generation. Or is it just, like so much of the film, not convenient?!

Who said he killed a bunch of Jedi?

Not saying you're wrong, however, I heard the phrase "master of the knights of ren", but I didn't hear anything about Kylo killing a bunch of Jedi.

Unless we're referring to EU comics/stories which are non-canonical.

Kylo was distressed at having to kill his father, and was also injured anyway. That sort of injured, being shot in the stomach, would slow down anyone.

Plus, he might not have been trying to kill Rey. He offered to teach her the ways of the force, maybe he was ordered not to kill her by Snoke.

It's very heavily implied that Ren massacred the Jedi even if it's not stated.

"He was training a new generation of Jedi. There was no one else left to do it, so he took the burden on himself. Everything was going good, until one boy, an apprentice, turned against him and destroyed it all. Everything Luke had worked toward: gone. Luke felt responsible. He walked away from everything." - Han Solo

No. Even wounded, a trainee Sith with years of experience would hand some primitive scavenger with a Jakku mechanic degree her arse. It was just the usual pro feminist bullshit that Hollywood seems to want to force down our throat these days. No dueling experience? Perhaps, but nor has she! Why the **** do Stormtroopers have anti-lightsaber weaponery? No shock, just ready to battle someone with a lightsaber at any moment. A real JJ moment - trying to look to cool but not making any ****ing sense which was prevalent throughout this mess.

Also, don't feel the need to explain it for me. I watched the same pile of **** as you did and I can't stress how familar I am with the films and universe, so you are not talking with someone with no knowledge of this made up ****.

Not for me. All pointy angles and teeth, like getting it on with a bag of coat hangers. She makes Keira look feminine.

Daisy is hot and played the role of Rey fantastically. Very surprised to see people criticising her so much tbh although I'd agree on many of the flaws with her character in the script. The casting in this movie has been so much better than with the prequels - for hammy acting see McGregor and Christensen - and why would someone from a planet far, far away have an American accent and not a British one? Harsh and unfair criticism. The most odd accent for me was the Scottish guy on Han's ship - just didn't sound right at all.

Rey's force abilities are probably going to be explained in the next 2 movies although the character was shown to be able to handle herself in close quarters earlier in the film when she kicked **** out of those lads with the staff. Not sure where Finn got his light sabre skills from, though.

Too many hat tips (rip offs) to the original trilogy and EpIV in particular. And too many smart alec gags. Those are my main criticisms of the film. Visually I liked it a lot.

Okay, final word on this. I saw it at the cinema for the second time last night in 2D and I liked it even more than the first time around. Any issues with similarities to the original movies just didn't register with me this time around as I guess I have accepted the plot and any shortcomings. My conclusion is it's an all round good Star Wars film and I can't wait for Ep VIII (although this has now been moved from it's May 2017 release date to December 2017 - apparently because they have made so much money from releasing Ep VII at this time of year).

I think some people were always going to be disappointed by this movie no matter what they did. In fact, I think if they were releasing the originals for the first time now the same people would probably not like them either. Reason being, the reason they like the originals so much now is because watching them takes them back to their childhood/youth, when they just watched, accepted and enjoyed movies without criticising films like Comic Book Guy. A new Star Wars movie is never going to bring your youth back to you folks.
