I don't like him either, he didn't score too many for us in the Championship either, he's obviously happiest and most productive at Bournemouth. Is that a risk worth taking?
Bournemouth have upped it a few levels since he left. He might not cut it there, like he hasn't here. Howe might be banking on his good memories of yesteryear.
I do agree with Dave. If a player is unhappy then he's not going to perform well, but going back to Bournemouth where he will be more comfortable and happier he could fit right back in. But then I agree with the other poster, I'd rather them spend the money on Grabban and we get Afobe. But then Afobe might not be able to step up to this level and that carries it's own risks, kind of glad I don't have to make these decisions lol.
I'm sure he will, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll score goals at this level. Don't get me wrong though, I'd rather have him than Grabban. But if Bournemouth really did offer us 8 million for him, we should have taken it and run. (also added a 'Non refundable receipt')
Blimey that's about the 5th post in a row of yours I've 'liked' FML, people will start to get the wrong idea
I think it only fair to warn you I'm a giver not a taker! And I'm led to believe my great bushy moustache tickles something rotten! Bah!
Brady? Brady takes players on FAAAAAR more than Redmond does. As does Jarvis! Redmond spends a lot of his time stuttering and pi55ing around whilst the opposition get back into position. I'd defo take £15mill for Redmond, lroviding we can pick someone up to replace him with the money. I'm sure there are plenty of better players we could get for less than £15mill.
Doubt it. He's being watched by big Premier League clubs for a reason. It's not like getting rid of a Whittaker. He's wanted by Spurs, Liverpool, Stoke, any side in and around us. Be mad to sell him. We don't need the money.
