Did Ilori not come off? Looked like he pulled something, came off a couple of minutes later.

Right strongest team we could have played.

    1. Mingolet. A keeper can play, it's mental ability only that tires.
    2. Rb. We all expected Randell to play
    3. Lb Smith.. as above.
    4. Cbs weeeelllllll.... in the end probably ilori was the only option. .. can maybe.
    5. CMs. Milner might have.... teix was always going to play. ...... brannigan was always likely imo. Allen is a bit disappointingly unfit given he's not actually been injured. One of those for me for sure. Milner, Allen, teix.
    6. Attack, benteke obviously. After that.... Lallana looks very unwell playing half the time... ibe was down so really to get two more in there is hard. Kent did OK in parts.

Really it was maybe 3 guys who could have but we got away with it and can look to play arsenal now

Ah my mistake, looked like he pulled something to me but could be wrong. Can't say he and Enrique inspired much confidence in me anyway.

I actually thought illori had a very decent game considering his fitness and game Time, easily one of our plus points today if you ask me. Deserves a chance on his performance especially with our cb situation Currently.

Klopp's made it clear he wants Sturridge to train properly for a few weeks rather than him having 1 training session, playing and getting injured again.

He did come off, but more because he was just knackered after not playing football all season. Didn't look like any kind of injury.

The way I read his comments it came across more like he wants him to have a few training sessions on the trot without missing any through injury.

Agree. Like many said, it's a no win really. Play well and people say well it's only Exeter, you should be playing well against them.

But I thought he looked solid enough. One or two moments, but he looked to bring the ball down similar to Sakho rather than just head clear which was nice to see. He has potential that's for sure... needs to be in and around the first team a lot more.

I thought Ilori, Tex, Smith, Ojo all did themselves proud tonight.

Brannagan, Randall, Stewart were all ok.

Kent & Sinclair needed to do more.. I know Sinclair scored but didn't do much else. Kent looked lively on the ball but all he did was come inside onto his left foot and lose it.

I think he is saying he needs to put the hard graft in the training before being rewarded with game time.

It's like a **** new years for them. They all turned up for a party that's not happened but rather than slink off they have to make something of it as it's not coming round again for a good while.
