He was useless last Saturday. He is too slow, and whilst he may have a decent shot now and then, he is not really what we want.

I haven't read this anywhere - I read though that Blackburn were looking at Pilkington - is this a potential swap situation? Pilkington for all his faults is a better player than Conway.

 

Still a favourite with City fans - had a good reception from us when he played here recently

One positive bit of news, contrary to reports above, Blackburn have signed Elliott Bennett from Norwich - he has been on loan with the Wurzels and played well against us. That should put paid to Blackburn's interest in Pilks!!!!

I agree that Conway does not have what we need - pace. However, if the rumour about Naaaarrrwich wanting Noone is correct then who knows what Headteacher Slade will do to replace him?

Fair comment. He deserves a chance. Should get one on Sunday. He's clearly done something wrong to pee off Slade. I thought he looked like he had acquired a few pounds (weight) at the start of the season.

 

I reckon Jet Harris should have a go - he should come out of the Shadows and get a chance..........

 

I think Slade would be Hankering for him to come to our Wonderful Land. He would keep us on a Cliff edge but would then Welch on the deal. I'll get me coat!!!

WOL are expecting something on the Watt deal to be annouced today.... Probably that there is no deal with Charlton and Revell/Macheda are our new first choice strikers...

Another point of interest, where is Saadi? Yesterday would have been an ideal time to give him a run out.

Okay. Where will he be played as Wiki shows him as a right back or central midfielder?

Handy to have as cover for both positions but he won't be coming as a bench warmer. If used in midfield is he a holding player or the box to box player we have been craving? Only 1 goal in league career to date indicates he doesn't get forward much so a replacement for Dikjacoi or Gunnar. The first not worth much but we would get money for Gunnar if that is the aim.

However rumour is that their owner is blocking all transfers?

 

Looks like Vela deal is dead in the water.

Not particularly sorry to be honest - looked distinctly average to me. No point in adding more of the same, we have greater needs.
