The way things are going there will be more and more turning plastic before to long.....

 

Bloody hell Dai one minute you are saying we will get 38 points and be safe and the next its definite relegation and now its more likely than not that we will go down ( all within 3 days and without kicking a ball). Sack the board if we have a coach or manager you like and sack the manager as the Board know what they are doing with a manager you don't like. You previously stated that a manager doesnt become poor overnight (referring to Monk) and its all to do with the Board. Well the same goes for Jenkins and the Board.

 

Here we go...........this morning he's into 10/1 from 25/1 close of play last night.
Bookies at it again?

 

I won't be turning plastic whatever happens this season and I don't think I'll have to consider it.

Tbh Matt, the way we've been playing under Curtis, buy a decent striker and we'll fly up the table. I'm more than happy with this appointment.

He's got a tough job ahead of him but frankly I would put no one ahead of him to do the job in such a trying circumstance .
A brave and risky appointment by Jenkins but the first time I agree with him on anything he's done in a very long time .....In Curtis I Trust !.....along with Adams , I doubt Curtis would have got the job without him .

 

To be honest I would have preferred to have a new man in, but he will have my full support.

Just glad it's sorted and we can move on, and get some new players in.

 

Good luck to him he will have a very tough job to keep us up.

The hardest thing now will be persuading players to come here, knowing there is only a caretaker till the end of the season and not knowing where they will stand at the end of the season. That striker we need may be a lot harder to sign now.

I know a lot on here think this is a good idea, I just worry that he just doesn't have the managerial experience to pit himself against many in the PL and I feel the board have given up and accepted we may well go down. I will back Curtis all they way but still believe it is the wrong decision. Here is to the bumpy ride for the next half of the season.

 

You can't blame managers who we're supposedly been talking to, taking a chance on a team in our position , we're not an attractive proposition atm and with a close reign on spending which most managers love to do is (spending other people's moneyj I would imagine the terms and conditions offered by Jenkins would have put them off. We are where we are so suck it up and support the guy, the recriminations can come after but lets see where this takes us next before hanging a Club legend as I'm sure some will if it goes belly up.

 

No one is having a go at him, I will and always have supported mangers at every game I have attended, I have never booed the side or a manager. So I will fully support him at every game we play under \Curtis, but am I not allowed to think it is the wrong decision and say so on here or should I be worried that Curtis might read it and get all upset.

 

And that makes a huge statement that we are the only premiership club not able to attract a manager after traveling half way around the world to get one... What a shambles.....Good luck Curt your going to need it having jinx calling the shots, i feel sorry for you as the one in the record books that will be noted as taking us down.......disgraceful really but what do you expect from this shower.........

 

If I'm honest, I'm disappointed also, but it was what I was expecting from Jinx after the improvement under Curtis, all we can do now is pitch in and make sure we get our team over the finishing line. Just one more point, all the clubs around us are strengthening, and Huw had better pull his bloody finger out over the Striker issue, otherwise he will take some stick end of season if we do go down with Go-miss up front, the useless lump of lard that he is............

 

My post wasn't directed at you but in general, I know that if it does go tits up then there will be accusations etc , I don't doubt for a minute that you and others will support the guy , who am I to say differently. The Board have cocked up big time but he is their and others reluctant choice , I just hope this decision isn't going to cost him his health , the guy doesn't deserve that .
