What's Morrison doing at the moment? Just chilling in Lazio reserves? He'll be playing for the Wormwood Scrubs 1st XI this time next year
I'd not give up on him quite yet; but then I still have a feint belief that Adel Taarabt can return to W12 and showcase his prestigious talents again. I guess I've been indoctrinated by the match day music choice of Fix You! Returning to Ravel Morrison, I think that good coaching could develop a useful and valuable player. And I believe that there's a desire to return to London with either ourselves or West Ham United. My opinion is that bridges haven't quite been burnt so badly with QPR as they might have with West Ham United. And I believe that there's desire on the player's part to return to a club that haven't judged and dismissed him coupled with a spotlight that's slightly dimmed from the glare of the EPL. If it's possible, in the best interests of both parties, there's a need to move the player on from off field influencers too. As the proverb suggests, qui cum canibus concumbunt cum pulicibus surgent. They who lie with dogs will rise with fleas. So I'd welcome young Ravel back in January but recognising and seeking to develop the whole package. With one eye on building a squad for promotion next season.
The new missus isn't as much of a looker as the old one but considerably less hassle and sucks like a Dyson so I'm happy.
I fully understand he has great ability to play the sport of football but I do not want this man at QPR. If he comes, we will not understand the negative effects of him being here for a while but at some point it'll all catch up to us. When you allow undisciplined hooligans into a team it gradually brings the squad down and brings with it an atmosphere that anyone can do what they want and doesn't need to respect the club or fans. We've been there before; we don't need to go back to those days when half the squad were taking the piss and didn't give a **** about playing for the club and fans. He's a man that lives for himself. Do I need to say more? We don't need this kind of dick head!
Mores the pity. Could be a key acquisition for the club - on the provision that he cuts out the off-field rubbish.
I think that it would be is mistake to buy anyone in the January window who has been sidelined for months and months, with few or no appearances in the first team. It often takes them weeks and weeks to get back match fitness and sharpness. We need someone who can make an impact within a few weeks rather than a few months down the line.
