The Club needs to communicate ...... The silence is not deafening, it's seems negative and defensive .......
Reports are saying although Newcastle and Palace are showing interest in Shelvey , he prefers a move to Palace .Also , although Gabbiadini from Napoli snubbed our interest in him , it's nice to know the club was ready to splash 15 million or so on the bid ...I think they are counting on this Shelvey money , we will probably accept 9 million , nothing less imo .
Not convinced about the Gabbiadini one, don't think imo we were ever in for him, bearing in mind the club have said there is not a lot of money available.
I take anything the club says ,these days , with a grain of salt . Most of my interest , at times , lies with what the club doesn't say lefty.
It was an unfortunate time to lose Monk running into the festive season, it has probably slowed proceedings down somewhat, but I'm sure our board will want a share of the up and coming £5 Billion TV rights starting next season, incentives don't come any better than that for a Boardroom.......

Rather get a striker from a lesser league on the cheap than one from a bigger club for silly money , especially in the mid season window . All we need is a striker with a good work ethic that we can mold . Dumeri Dumaka from all the way down from Grays athletic might be one for the future and get a few minutes on the run to summer behind Eder . I would put all my eggs in the Eder basket as long as he's focused and putting in an effort till later in January and re evaluate from there .
Not the De Goose back please............ Cristhian Stuani ? Andre Gray ? Charlie Austin is Valley's favourite but at £15 Million is well over priced, he was valued at £4 Million in 2013, I think £10 Million is more realistic value...........
SWANSEA Huw Jenkins will back his new manager with funds but hopes a side that flirted with European qualification last season can be quickly put back on course with a new leader in place. Speed is the essence though as they slip into danger. Positions wanted: Centre back, right back, striker Budget: £20m Potential players coming in: Loic Remy, Patrick Bamford (Chelsea), Michael Keane (Burnley), Sam Byram (Leeds) Potential players going out: Jonjo Shelvey, Neil Taylor, Franck Tabanou, Bafetimbi Gomis, Andre Ayew Source: Mail
