Hearing a lot of rumours about this. It was announced on the Chelsea transfers Twitter page yesterday.
Probably no more than rumour, but how would you guys feel about this exchange.

The word is Bale isn't very happy in Spain, the Real fans haven't taken to him, and feel that he doesn't pass the ball to Ronaldo enough, I heard he even got booed by Madrid fans during a match.
Despite being in good form, he doesn't seem to be able to win them over.
And we all know Hazard wants to go to Madrid....so.......

If its a straight swap I would take Madrid's hand off. Without question.
Thoughts?

Even if he is available I'd say that they would want a high price for him. Any sources saying a straight swap are bonkers. Zidane is actually a big fan of Bale so this is also going to be a problem.

For sure would surprise the **** out of me if Madrid agreed to a straight swap.
So I doubt thats the case, it will be Hazard + cash for Bale if it happened.

I think that Zidane will focus his team around Bale, he's got the balls to sort out the Ronaldo situation imo and will realise that he's on the downslide and needs replacing. Bale could end up the main man there.

Depends whether Bale wants to stay in Spain I suppose.
Leaving Chelsea aside, he may fancy a move back to England regardless, due to the way the fans treat him. I know Zidane is a fan but by all accounts Bale isn't happy there. He may end up back here with us or United or Arsenal.

That would be a hell of a dent in old Ossie's theory that Hazard is the better player.

I think at Madrid he would probably become one hell of a player.
We should do our best to make that dream come true for him, since he obviously doesn't want to play at Chelsea any more.
I think most of the "Bale leaving Madrid" stuff is coming from Bale's camp though, don't think Madrid will want to flog their record signing, Zidane especially.

Problem is, Bales pricetag may hinder a move elsewhere, since Real are the only ones that like spending £80m+ on one player.
 
Valuing an attacking player who hasn't scored a goal this season at £85million is a bit far fetched.

I'd swap him for mickey droy............ maybe we could get varane and bucks.

I'm surprised to think that Chelsea would pay to let Hazard go. We are a club that makes money during their transfers these days so cash + a player for one that, I personally am not crazy about, seems foolish to me. If they want to buy him, no problem. We slap a £60m+ price tag on him and then see how much Bale would cost.

Hazard has been very poor this season. The question is whether the reason for this is Jose. If he doesn't improve the rest of the season, I cant see his value remaining high.

As for Bale, it looks like Zidane wants to keep him. So to get him in an exchange deal, probably something like £60m + Hazard.
 
Zidane has talked Hazard up a lot in the past. I think he will be Real's main target next summer, regardless of whether Bale stays or goes.
