  6. It's great that clubs do these kind of things and I mean zero disrespect with my following comments but I do find it a cringy too, like they are trying to jump on a bandwagon at times. Some of you may recall me saying similar things when Stags left 96 empty seats at The One Call Stadium (Field Mill) a couple years ago when we played them (Suarez handball goal)

I see your point in your sarcasm mito but its better to just accept it for what it is, the more of these kind of gestures happening the better because the stigma faced by the families, club and supporters since the day of the disaster has been a heavy burden to bear amid the lies, false accusations and pure hate.

Fair enough, but rather than be cynical i prefer to accept the change in attitude towards us and our club as a way of people/other club's accepting they were wrong to swallow the lies fed to them by governments, police and hacks down the years.

We did/have played them since 89 and before the "real truth" emerged, we played them only a few years back I think when Kenny came back.

This year's Hillsborough Memorial Service at Anfield will be the last one, after the Hillsborough Family Support Group unanimously agreed to stop the annual service at the ground.

Chair of the HFSG, Margaret Aspinall, said: “The 96 will never be forgotten. It is likely that the inquests will be concluded before the anniversary so this final memorial service will provide the families with some closure.

“We would also like to extend our thanks to Liverpool Football Club for their continued support over the past 27 years and for hosting the service each year at Anfield.

“We hope that the public and fans respect the decision of the HFSG and will continue to remember the 96 in their own perhaps more private way.”

Yeah but even if they lose the game a goal would still be useful so he's #nailedon to #bottleit instead

    Anyone fancy a Merseyside final?

It could be on the cards. Liverpool hold the box seat in the other semi-final, after beating Stoke City 1-0 in yesterday's first leg.

Everton v Liverpool at a packed Wembley?

No one would be calling the League Cup Mickey Mouse then would they? (okay, some still might).

Yeah, probably the ones from the place you see from your office window.<whistle>

I think it'd be nice for sure.

I half think city would cough up more chances to us than they would but I dunno.

    it'd be a great occasion.
